Great place for a night or two layover between towns. The house was VERY clean and communicating via the app was good. Kind of far from Stowe, but not terrible

Christine was a great hostess and dropped off an extra blanket when we got there. The home was clean and in great shape and conveniently located off the main road, but near Stowe and Jeffersonville. We would come back if we were in Vermont another time.

This was our 3rd stay at the beautiful quant Bear cub cabin very clean big cabin, stocked with all you need, Christine is a wonderful host, The cabin is tucked up in the trees, Peaceful quiet, We love staying here for Fall Foliage. Enjoyed our drive to Stowe Vermont and Burke. We'll be back!

The cabin was very clean! Had many amenities to use for cooking. Looked exactly how the pictures looked. The host was very easy to get in contact with and very helpful. Would 100% recommend and go back!

We loved the location out in the country away from the crowds with beautiful surroundings. The accommodations were just like the photos. Christine was very prompt with all correspondence and checked up with us every step of the way. We hope to come back some day.

Perfect winter vacation stay.

Perfect cabin for us in a beautiful, woodsy, and quiet cabin. Our host was very accommodating. We could not have asked for more! Looking forward to staying again.

The cabin was super cute and reasonably priced! Worth 5 stars but we had a little snafu upon arrival. First, we got a little lost finding the cabin. We arrived close to dark and the address given is to the neighboring property not the rental. There was nothing mentioned about taking the long driveway right before the address given. Driving up the driveway there are no houses, just grass, trees and shrubbery then you'll see a blue house on the right and then 3 identical cabins at the top of the driveway. The rental is the one in the middle at the top. We loved the location, but it would have been helpful to know what to look for and the name of the driveway. As we pulled in around 6 pm (check in is at 3 pm), Chris, one of the owners called and said she had a guest check out late (check out is at 11 pm) and her clothes dryers broke so her day was a little crazy. We would have appreciated a call/text/message that happened (it was technically 3 hours after check in and we hadn't received the news) and we had been in the car traveling for almost 5 hours to get to the rental so we were a little bummed we had to leave while the cabin was cleaned and set up for us. Chris was very nice and apologetic, and she had the rental cleaned and turned over by 7:30 pm for us. Otherwise, we enjoyed how quiet and updated the cabin was. Bed was comfy, shower was perfect, all appliances worked great :) Peak foliage season in Vermont is worth going back for another stay! Highly recommend :)

Cozy cabin

Bear cub cabin was very comfortable and in a secluded location. There were neighbors but you couldn't see them from the cabin. If we're ever in VT again, we'd definitely stay again!

Fantastic cabin getaway

The cabin is a perfect space - modern with all the amenities one would need in a remote wooded location of Vermont. The hostess was readily available and easy to communicate with - super accommodating. All around - excellent!

Super nice cabin

We visited the Bear Cub Cabin while we visited with family in Johnson over the Christmas holidays. The cabin is almost brand new and is just perfect for a couple. Our host even left a thoughtful Vermont themed Christmas gift for us under the tree in the cabin. We hope to come back year after year to this beautiful property!

Unbelievably Wonderful Cabin!

This cabin is totally modern with everything you could ever need for a comfortable stay. The host, Christine, was super friendly and provided lots of little extras that shows she cares for her guests. Definitely is a 5+ star experience!

Perfect cabin

This was our second time staying in one of the cabins. This time we were in the Bear Cub cabin and loved it. It was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. Communication was easy. Location was perfect for everything we did! We look forward to staying the next time we’re back.

Lovely country cottage

Christine is a wonderful host and even forwarded my charges that I left. The rental was very clean, new, comfortable and in a beautiful location. Would go back.

Weekend Getaway

We loved this cabin! My boyfriend and I came up for two nights with our dog. We booked this stay last minute after having a busy work week during vacation week for kids out of school and just wanted a relaxing break - that’s exactly what we got! The cabin was so cute, so cozy and clean. We will definitely be booking this cabin again come summer or fall time. Thank you Christine for being helpful and providing your cabin to us!

Quiet Getaway

The cabin was a nice getaway, easy drive to all the places we wanted to go. Everything was clean & tidy. The kitchen had what we needed for reheating leftovers but if I had wanted to cook a full meal I would have had to be resourceful. The internet was a bit spotty, likely due to the remote location. FYI - There are lots of dirt roads in the area. Would stay here again if ever in the area.

Beary Nice Little Getaway

Tucked into the woods, this property invites you to sit on the front porch and watch the leaves change color. You can park your car right next to the porch. The cabin has a combined large, inviting kitchen and sitting area with a tv. Kitchen is stocked with necessities. The bedroom has a queen sized bed. Host is very communicative and we knew host was available and nearby if needed. We would book this cabin again if in the area.

Loved our stay!

The inside of the cabin was exactly as shown. Very clean. We stayed 2 nights. The candies and homemade jam were nice touches. The description of the property was not overly thorough (especially for the location & outside) so we didn’t quite know what to expect. It was wonderful! If you want peace, quiet, and privacy, this cabin is for you. It’s located off the beaten track, in a wooded area. Yet you are not very far from local attractions. We would highly recommend a stay here.
