perfect location and space for a family stay in Geneva/St. Charles

We came to watch the Kane County Cougar baseball and the Labor Day weekend with our family inc a baby. The house was well equipped for cooking and enjoying TV and dinners. Loved having lots extra towels available and a washer and dryer . The location was great for walking to Historic Downtown Geneva and St. Charles to the restaurants and stores and to walk along the Fox River. Great memories of our day !

Mixed Experience

The convenient location & size of the house were what our group of 4 friends wanted. The house was a bit odd, tho -- a poorly done DIY project with lots of strange & a few funny mis-matched details. Example: the door to the first bedroom was a poorly fit, re-used folding closet door. The second bedroom window looked out into a decrepit, dirty screened porch. The second bathroom was down 2 half-flights of stairs from the bedroom level. The cleaners had not cleaned behind the lower bathroom door. When we closed it, the area behind the door was dirty and a spider was in residence. The open living-kitchen-dining layout was nice but some details fell short. The agent called to say the dishwasher was broken, we appreciated knowing in advance and and we got by during our 2-night stay. The free coffee K-cups were nice, but why no decaf coffee? We brought decaf grounds, but there was only the Keurig machine. The front entrance had very narrow brick steps with no railing. It truly was a mixed experience -- some things were good, other things were lacking.

Great place

Everything about this place is great. It has all that you need for essentials. Location is great. Walkable to either Geneva or St Charles. Very quiet neighborhood.

Nice Place in Geneva, IL

The property has been updated and comfortable. Nice Beds, kitchen nicely appointed, quality of TVs and WiFi worked well. We were in town for a celebration of life and the location was perfect for us, very close to the River and downtown Geneva. We were limited to the number of family members to come over because of the lack of parking and strict parking rules. The back yard is fenced in and nice, wish the furniture in the back was in better shape so that we could have enjoyed the outside more.

Visiting for family wedding

Nice house located in very quiet neighborhood. Worked well for extended family to stay together. Melanie is a great host and responds promptly.
