The cabin is situated in a small vacation town of Packwood, Washington. Its remote location and small town charm offer a wonderful ambiance and a place to relax and refresh. Occasionally, you may be greated by wandering herds of elks. They are friendly and visitors enjoy seeing them in person.

Packwood’s remote location suggest you should arrive with your own vehicle which will allow you to visit and explore everything the region has to offer.

During the summer a burn ban may go into effect in all of Lewis County. During this time campfires, the use of charcoal briquettes, and any other form of burning may be prohibited.

Winters in Packwood may get very snowy. It is the guests responsibility to be properly equipped for harsh winter driving conditions. We do our best to keep our cabins accessible, but winter traction tires and 4-wheel drive may still be required.
