Very dirty and out dated decor

The property manager was more than helpful.
The vacation rental was very dirty.
I was more than happy with the location.
I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental.

This was a dirty, uncomfortable and most unattractive rental. I don’t even know what kind of décor this is, but it does not lend itself to beach and being happy. Very dull and dark. Framed “art” work on the walls are faded. Update needed. The cover to the main kitchen light has MOLD on it. The HVAC vents are rusted and probably have mold issues as well. The sliding glass shower door is off the track and very difficult to slide. There are also no shelves or place to store personal items/toiletries in that bathroom. Bed pillows for sleeping are very flat and old. NO blankets available. Where does one put decorative bed pillows, there were way too many. Luckily, we stacked them all in an unused bedroom. Walls in the Jack and Jill bathroom are covered in dust and lint. Light bulbs not working in some fixtures. Living room lamp turn on knob missing, unusable. Balcony sliding glass door very difficult to open and close. The living room furniture is very outdated, well-worn and the WHITE sofa is very dirty. I was also bitten on the back of my leg by something in the sofa while relaxing. We also killed many roaches/Palmetto bugs inside while there. The carpet is filthy and very, very worn. The smooth floors could use a mopping and we could tell they had not been cleaned properly. There is also a very creepy tall dog statue that will give you nightmares! Dryer makes a loud noise. We had to buy batteries for a few of the remotes. One of the king-sized beds is missing a box spring, it is not a platform bed. There was no shade available at the Avian Pool and the trash can was very full. The pool spa/bubble feature did not work the entire week
