Amazing one bedroom freestanding house with top of the line appliances, including an outside dining / bbq area to come and relax after a long day out. It has central ac/heat and even an electric charger in case you have an electric vehicle. This is a back house so once you drive up you will find your own hidden retreat in the middle of the city or walk to the multiple restaurants and cafes in the area, even go a couple of walks to the fabulous hiking trails.

Grandview Cozy House

We loved this place. It worked well for us visiting family in Valley Village and Glendale. The building was just right for a couple. We had a some difficulty connecting to the WiFi when we first arrived, but the host was responsive in providing an alternate connection. The building is in the back of the property down a narrow driveway. There was a nice outdoor area. If we had rented a car there was a charging station available. The washer and dryer were in a separate building. Nice extermal camera security on the property.

Comfortable space in a good location.

We stayed here for the second time during the holidays and will stay here again. Located in a quiet, walkable neighborhood close to shopping. Property is as described. Property manager very responsive when contacted.

Great Property, Great Location

The guest house itself was better than I had expected. The rooms were comfortable and roomy, kitchen was well equipped, the closet was amazing. I did rent an SUV which was difficult to navigate up the narrow driveway and didn't leave much room to open doors. I would also have appreciated written check out instructions at the property like I have seen at most rentals. The owner messaged me at the end of the stay but the message was buried in my million emails I received while on vacation. I missed a step that was outlined in my hurry to check out and return our car rental but the issue was quickly resolved with the owner.

Lovely little cottage

My husband and I came into town for a few days and needed a place that would allow for an easy access to Hollywood and out to Pasadena. This little cottage was perfect. It was well appointed, comfortable and quiet. It was nice not having to look for a parking spot on the street. Bernice was easy to communicate with.

Very satisfied

The accommodations were very nice and as advertised. Clean, safe, private and quiet. Our host was very prompt in responding to the questions we submitted. A couple minor suggestions for improvement: there should be a box of tissues provided and have the plumbing checked for sewer smell.

A great stay at this rental

This property is exactly as described. We loved staying in this updated guest house with great amenities. Clean property, comfy bed, nice kitchen stocked with handy appliances, great shower pressure. Loved having our own parking spot. Air conditioning worked well. The owner communicates quickly. We lacked nothing, and would easily stay here again.

Simply perfect. Clean, larger than most, great closet space, looked and was equipped as advertised, especially convenient for us (son and family 1.9 miles away in Burbank). Will be back.

Great location and home.

This guest home was amazing. Very clean and well spaced with all amenities needed. Parking was provided which was a huge plus. Communication with host was prompt and helpful. Loved that they had lots of extra linens available and we didn’t have to pull from other beds. The master closet was huge and a great space to change and store luggage. Even a secured safe is provided. Couldn’t be more happy with our stay, will definitely be back.

Good stay

We really liked the convenience of the location and attractiveness of the property. It was clear that care had been taken to keep it updated and to consider guests’ needs. There is a nice patio/outdoor space and a comfortable bed.

Comfy and quiet retreat in the heart of Glendale

Loved this property! I needed a place to stay while visiting my brother who lives nearby. Cozy bedroom with a very comfortable mattress. Huge closet and hotel quality bathroom. While I didn’t need to use the kitchen much, the hostess provided a good amount of amenities. Excellent communication with the hostess too. Would come back here and stay!!!

Unbelievably clean, comfortable, everything you could want. The host has thought of everything. The area is quiet and convenient, and the host exceptionally clear and welcoming in communication. Will absolutely book this property again! Cannot recommend highly enough!

Top Choice

The property is lovely: trees, patio, off-street parking. The inside has a high end kitchen, great bathroom, huge closet, comfy sofa. And the neighborhood is a hidden gem. Put on your walking shoes and walk towards downtown Burbank: bakeries, small ethnic food stores, iconic buildings. This place is a plethora of charm.

We Loved this place!

The space was super cute! Great outdoor space too. Just perfect for what we needed! Great location with easy walks to coffee shops, grocery, and fun shops. The host was super responsive. We travel to this area often and will definitely stay here again.

Disappointing, based on other reviews.

No mention was made in advance that washer and dryer are located outside the property in the shed. There was no basket to carry laundry out there, and the shed itself was not tidy. I only found the laundry area by searching outside. (Less than ideal). The enclosed patio area outside in the yard was quite messy and looked like it had not been cleaned out in a while. Dishwasher was very confusing to operate and took me many tries to get it to come on. The decorating of the house is beautiful, but inside of cabinets in kitchen were in need of wiping down, and there was only a partial set of silverware. Living room chair and ottoman (shown in photo) were not in property and the sofa was not comfortable to sit on, also, there were no end tables to set drinks or other items. My communication with the owner began with less than an ideal encounter, and she made me feel like I was complaining about minor things (even though plumbers were sent out the next day who replaced parts and advised a new handle is still needed for the toilet). Pluses were that the bed was pretty comfortable and the big walk-in closet was very handy for keeping all my clothes and suitcases during my stay. None of the issues were bad enough for me to look for another place to stay, but I don't feel I would book this place again.

Long weekend in LA!

Safe area, easy connections to the sights. The property was clean comfortable and amazing private outdoor space and private off street parking. Hosts communications were excellent. Really glad we stayed here :-)
