The place is very nice. The beach is a long walk from the unit and due to the hurricane the beach does not exist, the sand was washed away, rocks and black water. There was no view of the ocean from the unit. The unit is very nice and the patios are very nice.

Aloha! Mahalo for your kind words about the unit and our patios—we’re so glad you enjoyed the space itself! We are sorry to hear that the walk and the beach conditions impacted your stay. While our property is oceanfront, our listing description, photos, and video tour outline that our specific condo does not have direct ocean views and sits about a 5-minute stroll (approx. a quarter-mile) through the resort grounds to the shoreline. To help make that walk as easy as possible, we happily provide beach gear and a rolling cart for all our guests. As for the beach itself, mother nature can certainly be unpredictable. Large swells from a distant storm temporarily shifted the sand along this stretch of coast—a natural cycle that fortunately repairs itself over time. You can already tell the sand is moving back from the ocean onto the beach again. Mother nature is amazing! We truly appreciate your feedback and hope we have the chance to welcome you back to Maui under calmer seas and sunny skies! Mahalo!"

Everything was as advertised, very clean and had everything we needed. Was a good healthy walk to the beach everyday and nice and close to quiet pool as another option.

The condo is well-appointed. We had everything we needed. It was a little further from the beach than we expected, but the pool is right out the back door. We would stay there again.

The unit is recently remodeled with modern everything. The property is quiet and spacious with four different pools, including the big pool right next to the beach. Kory was an excellent communicator… overall pleasant vacation stay there again

Great condo at the north end of Wailea!The condo itself is spacious, comfortable, and features a well-equipped kitchen. While it’s a short walk to the beach, Hurricane Nolo recently washed away the sand at Keawakapu II (leaving it mostly rocky cobble for now; locals mention it may take a few months to recover naturally). Fortunately, driving to other nearby South Maui beaches is quick and easy.Highlights & Tips:Host: Kory was very responsive and easy to communicate with.A/C: Turn on the upstairs unit(s) immediately upon arrival during hot summer days.Pool: Located just steps away—perfect for a daily post-beach dip.Beach Gear: Helpful to have on hand (chairs, umbrella, boogie boards, wagon). Note that gear condition/availability may shift as it appears to rely on guest contributions. We replaced a broken umbrella.We’ll definitely add this place to our list for future Maui trips!

Great private location. Kitchen was very well stocked. Bbq stations convenient. Beach wagon and beach chairs were great to have. Pools were well kept and easy to find poolside chairs.

Very peaceful and beautiful. Never had to worry about it being too busy at the pools or the beach. The extras provided were amazing such as the beach chairs and umbrella.

Amazing!

We have stayed at a number of units at the Ekahi and 42A was amazing. Nicely decorated, clean, great patios. This is a great unit. Highly recommended.

Perfect for our family get away

The condo was just renovated which was a treat. Loved the split level and living area which acted like a second bedroom with sliding doors. Perfect for my teenager that doesn’t get up as early as me. Location was a short walk to an amazing beach which is less busy. Super quiet at night and slept like a log!

Peaceful getaway

This unit is perfect for us as it’s so peaceful and the grounds are surrounded by gorgeous landscaping. We enjoyed the close vicinity to the pool. The furnishings of the condo inside and out are outstanding! Look forward to coming back again.

We had a fabulous stay at this beautifully updated, clean, and comfortable unit. It’s conveniently located to a private beach for sunset views and daily swims and close to all the higher end resorts along the Wailea beach path which we walked to several times throughout our stay. We very much felt the aloha spirit from Kory, the property manager. Will definitely return! Mahalo!

Wonderful condo

Condo is exactly as advertised. Clean, comfortable and spacious. King bed was awesome. Beautiful area, great for walking. Loved the pavilion. Would definitely highly recommend and we will definitely return. Also management was great… very responsive.

The accommodations were new, clean, and everything we needed to enjoy the location was included. There is not an ocean view from this property which I expected from the description I read, however there is an ocean view from the pool which is steps away from the unit. I contacted the owner by text, email, and phone to see if we could get a later check out time because our flight was not until 7:30 pm, but I never received a response of any kind which was a little disappointing. We were out promptly by eleven and had a lot of time to kill without any accommodation. Condo was great, communication less so.

Beautiful unit at Wailea Ekahi

This condo was absolutely gorgeous: beautiful decor and furnishings, bathrooms and kitchen very updated and well-stocked, fantastic ceiling fans and lights with adjustable levels, and several stunning lanais. And of course, the grounds at Wailea Ekahi were fabulous, with flowers, views, excellent pools, and wonderful people. The pickleball court was in great condition, and players were very welcoming and inclusive. We had a great stay!

We loved the layout. The Lania was perfect. Late at night it was so peaceful and quiet. The community pools were awesome. Walked to the center by the beach every night to watch the sunset with other guests. 5 stars!

Very clean and comfortable condo with nice lanai that we used frequently. Well-equipped, clean kitchen. Close to a pool. Nice to have beach chairs for our use, too. We loved the space and it had everything we needed. Our only complaint was that the pullout bed in the living room was not very comfortable for two adults. It may be fine for children or small adults, but not for our family. That said, it was really nice to have the pocket door to create some privacy for that room.
