Hi Lorraine, Thank you for your stay and for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re truly sorry to hear that your experience fell short of expectations, especially with the pool area, which we understand was an important part of your trip. While we wish everything had gone perfectly, there were circumstances beyond our control—particularly the weather— that impacted our ability to service the pool exactly as scheduled. Heavy rain early in your stay delayed our pool technician’s visit, so I personally went in the next day of your arrival. Treating the pool during rain would have been ineffective for the pool balance. You can read online about it That said, I personally came by early in your visit, Tuesday to assess and brush the pool to ensure clarity and chemical balance. At that time, everything appeared to be in proper condition, with clear water and no visible imbalances. It looked like your family were having a blast and happy, which we love to see! While we always strive to provide a relaxing and clean stay for every guest, refunds aren’t issued for weather-related or naturally occurring outdoor conditions, these circumstances are out of our control. Regarding the backyard and lounging area, this is a half-acre outdoor property, and with that comes occasional interaction with nature—bees, grass growth, and insects are part of the environment despite regular maintenance. The lawn was cut shortly before your arrival, but of course, rain accelerates growth, so maybe that impacted your view of it. We do not apply any chemicals on our grass. We also understand your concern about the bed height. While our photos and listing try to provide an accurate representation, we’ll look into and we will be adding the king box under :D We do thank you for choosing our home, and we wish you the best on your future travels. I am glad we were able to provide a refund for the night, though I understand it doesn’t take away the stress of that evening. We appreciate your comments on the cleanliness of the home and will use this entire experience to improve our emergency procedures and guest communication. We wish you and your family the very best.

Tall Fescue grass grows incredibly fast—almost like a thick carpet—and despite mowing right before your arrival, the recent heavy rains caused it to shoot up faster than expected. We apologize that it impacted the yard and lounge areas during your stay. We have already sent our maintenance team to trim the low tree limbs, clear the pool sidewalk bushes, and deep-clean the lounge chairs. We’ve also repaired the couch leg and had our cleaning team address the interior floors. Our laundry room layout is now noted in the listing description for future guests - Right under the Cartport - We are so glad you enjoyed the upgraded rooms, well-stocked kitchen, and the clean pool! We would love the chance to host your family again for a seamless, 5-star experience.
