Eccentric and Eclectic

Overall, the house was great! The eclectic decor made for a unique and memorable stay, unlike any other we’ve experienced. While we enjoyed our time, the comfort level could have been improved—both the pillows and sheets felt a bit thin, and being close to the highway was slightly inconvenient (though that was partially on us for not reviewing the location more closely). These were minor issues in an otherwise enjoyable stay!

Clean, comfortable, and close to our event venue

We were in town for a wedding at the Harley Davidson Museum. The house was just as described, clean, comfortable, and within a few minutes of all the wedding events we were in town for. We also visited the North Point lighthouse, Bradford Beach, and the Pabst Museum. Would definitely stay there again.

Retro and eclectic-comfortable

The site was a wonderful location, easy parking and a wonderful Mexican restaurant within 2 blocks. The owner was very responsive to our questions. I will keep this in mind for our next stay in Milwaukee.

Milwaukee stay!

Overall 4 stars+ nice place. Seemed European and original! A little noisy on one end of the house but overall satisfied! Left a bottle of champagne for the owner!

This was a sweet place for my family to stay in Milwaukee. Walking distance to some nice restaurants, and my favorite cocktail bar, Bryant’s.

Cosy and convenient!

Enjoyed the house. The owner is obviously a fan of 80’s pop due to the memorabilia and art. Very conveniently located right off the on/off ramps to the highway. 5 minute ride/uber to downtown. Lots of Mexican restaurants within walking distance. Owner was very attentive and also kept us in the loop on any parking restrictions. House was very clean and comfortable. Powered lazyboys in front of the TV was a nice addition. Plenty of room for my group of 5. Would def stay here again!

Quick Milwaukee Trip

House was just as listed! We loved the furnishings and the style of the house! The park/playground across the street was nice. Easy, convenient parking and easy highway access. Great home away from home for our few days in Milwaukee!

MCM/Vintage delight

We loved our stay at Eric's. His property is full of interesting pieces and decor ranging a span of many, many decades. I felt as if I had stepped into my childhood with a touch of grandma's home. Thanks for sharing your home with us!

Weekend in Milwaukee

Comfortable and clean. We all slept well. It suited our needs for a long weekend wedding stay. Loved the vintage touches and artwork. Easy in & out! Would ask to stay there again.

Convenient location

The house was spotless with very comfortable furnishings. The location makes it very easy to access all the sights in Milwaukee. Good restaurants nearby for takeout. We were within five blocks of the wedding venue. Quick on and off the interstate. Having two bathrooms and a first floor bedroom was great. Being able to park in the garage, rather than on the street was a definite plus! Questions to the host were answered quickly! Although we didn't use it, there is a nice park right across the street.

Great stay in Historic Walkers Point

Great stay to celebrate our son's graduation. Close to all the of wonderful restaurants and historic sites. Lovely place, very clean, with fun decor. Eric was very accommodating, you couldn’t ask for a better host. We will miss you Milwaukee!

Close to the action but neighborhood feel

The Roadhouse was headquarters for the family. We were headed to events in the Third Ward so access to the expressway was very beneficial. Of course with the quick access also comes some vehicle noise, so just be prepared for that. The home itself is well cared for, had a well equipped kitchen, and had awesome eclectic décor. Also nice was the garage - no worries about the vehicle! It was nice to be in a neighborhood away from the hectic city life but 5-10 minute access to it all.

A very nice and comfortable home. It’s a bit noisy at night (just a few loud motorcycles) but the bedrooms and beds were very comfortable, clean and well appointed. The manager was very kind.

Perfect neighborhood!

We loved the location as a home base for Irish fest, quick and easy back and forth to give the kiddo rest between performances. Lots of great food within walking distance. House was clean and cozy as advertised.
