One of only two restored Frank Lloyd Wright-designed American System-Built Homes in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, is open for public.
All Mission Style furniture, Stickley Sofa and Chairs, and many built-in Frank Lloyd Wright designed furniture.
4 Bedrooms (One King, Two queens and one full size beds), 2.5 huge bathrooms, a daybed with trundle in the sleeping porch(two Twins), Maximum of 10 people (if add a full bed in the office).
A two night minimum stay is required.
Frank Lloyd Wright signed the actual building permit in 1916. A true Prairie Style original. Light-filled rooms create a warm, organic living space. Maple floors throughout, 80 leaded glass windows, built in bookcases and armories, tray ceilings, natural fireplaces. Spacious, vintage Danish-designed Poggenpohl kitchen. Amazing stained glass skylight floods staircase with light. Generous master suite with en-suite bath, natural fireplace, and many built-ins. Private, mature landscaped yard with deck.
No pets, no smoking.

Grant,
I am so sorry that Milwaukee city police issue parking permits only on the day your parking start day, they do not issue it in advance. Even you asked in advance, we still have to wait to get it on the day you start parking. There options are: 1) one night, start today; 2) two nights, start today; 3) three nights, start today.
I am sorry for the inconvenience.

Truly a delightful and once-in-a-lifetime stay (unless I return to Milwaukee, in which case I definitely stay again). Host was clear and helpful on all details. We are grateful to sleep in the presence of greatness. It’s south of the main tourist locations of the city but all drives are short.

Step back in time with the detail and design of the 1910s/1920s home by Frank Lloyd Wright. My family enjoyed very much hanging out in the beautiful living room after a meal in the dining room with intricate furniture and walls/windows. We were only there through the weekend for the State Fair and the Irish Fest. Perfect location. Piano present was the star of the show for my kids who otherwise would have rather been on electronics. Thank you Joan.

The house is wonderful. Comfortable beds and furniture. Plenty of room. Parking was a bit awkward, but do-able. The only problem we had was the noisy street. Traffic is LOUD, I don't believe most cars had mufflers. And late late late into the night LOUD radios in cars up and down, over an over made sleeping difficult.Would stay again if in Milwaukee, but I'd buy earplugs. (maybe that could be an amemity in the front bedrooms!)

The house itself was very satisifying for us as FLW enthusiasts. Also the Burnham Block tour was great and helped compliment our stay!

The house is a restored Frank Lloyd Wright jewel of a home. I spent 4 nights there and absolutely loved every minute. Joan is prompt answering my questions and the house had everything i needed. Lovely lovely comfortable furnishings

This was a great place to stay. The period details of the house were a lot of fun. In addition to those details, the kitchen was modernized and was easy to work in. The dining room and living room were great spaces for family holiday gatherings, and the bedrooms had plenty of space to put things.It was an interesting experience seeing tourists walking down the block, looking at the house and the others on the Burnham block — not something that’s happened to us before.The hosts were kind and communicative, and there was no problem checking in or out.We’d definitely stay here again.

Taliesen Weekend
We loved staying in this property on our Frank Lloyd Wright weekend! It’s a two hour drive from Taliesen, but really helped the weekend feel complete to stay in this spacious house that was right on theme. We loved all of the details and the kind host.

Great opportunity to stay in a historic home
We loved being able to stay a Frank Lloyd Wright-designed house for a few days. It was pretty easy to get to all the Milwaukee attractions on our list as well.

As a big fan of Frank Lloyd Wright, I was surprised when we first time saw the house. Former owners David and Jillayne Arena and their family spent 36 years and did a great job restoring the house.
