Location was great! Private pool was awesome. House was spacious and clean, the whole fam loved it. Host messaged us during our stay that Kilauea was erupting and we should go see it, and she was right! So thoughtful for her to send us the info we needed for that adventure. If I can get back to the Big Island again, I am definitely staying here.

Great place to stay on east side of big island. We were just a party of two but this home is roomy enough for two couples or a mid size family. Lots of privacy and a pool to enjoy on a warm afternoon. Thanks to Maureen for accommodating a special request.

The house was immaculate and spacious. The kitchen was well stocked. The pool was wonderful. Perfect for our time on this side of the island.

The house was everything we hoped for, and more! Secluded, but also in close proximity to watch sunrise over the ocea, 30 minute ride to Volcanoes NP and Hilo. We spent so much time in the beautiful pool. We also appreciated the pool toys and bikes to explore the neighborhood. There is a beautiful breeze that keeps the house comfortable at all times. Maureen was an excellent host and contacted us to make sure we got in and that everything was going well. We will definitely stay here again!

Beautiful home!

We had the best time! Great location for visiting Hilo and Volcano NP. The private pool was amazing for relaxing and chilling out in the evening.

Amazing stay

Property was exactly as described and quite wonderful. Secluded with a rain forest feel and so peaceful. The pool was perfect and each day the kids were swimming right after breakfast before we headed out to see the sights. House had lots of room and we never felt crowded. We would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting the Hilo area.

Great location, very user friendly house with everything you could possibly need. Would stay again when I return to Hilo. Have used Vrbo for over 20 years. Always very good accommodation

lovely home to spread out with teens

It was great to take our city kids to a lovely home that feels nestled in a rainforest. Loved the pool, and the rooms were spacious and clean. Easy walking distance to a glorious sunrise spot on the cliffs. Very nice, would highly recommend this home for a stay.

2nd Stay Here

Great property for families that like to swim. Pool is amazing, house is well equipped for cooking. Very quiet area and a great base for exploring the Hilo side of the island. We stayed here 7 years ago and will hopefully stay again in the future.

Fantastic Home

This is one of the best rentals i have stayed in. The home was spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable. The pool was wonderful. It was a great central location for us to explore the east side of the island. I would absolutely stay here again!

Relaxing stay

Booked for our family following our youngest daughters graduation from UH HILO. Great location away from the hustle and bustle. Everything was just as it was listed. Maureen was quick to respond to any question I had. I would defiantly stay here again!

Wonderful stay

We really enjoyed our stay here. There were a few minor items when we checked in, but the host was able to get them resolved quickly. The location is great if you're spending time on the Hilo side of the island. The house comes stocked with pretty much everything you need for your stay. The kids loved the pool after some long days exploring. Would definitely look up this place again if we decided to stay on this side of the island again.

Kalolii pool house

Easy check in Maureen was great to deal with & responses were instant. House has everything you need & being able to use the pool at any time to cool down was great. We’ve rented numerous vacation rentals in this area & this one is in our top 3

Beautiful property!

Beautiful lush tropical yard, gorgeous clean pool, comfy master bed, and lounge chairs that are genuinely comfortable! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and immediately felt at home there. We spent the majority of 3 days hanging out in the back yard! I absolutely would have taken the backyard home with me if I could have!

This is a perfect location being a most beautiful and accommodating property! I will stay here again for sure! Thanks for the tip about Kaloli Point! Absolutely stunning! I like loved all the rain forests sound and crashing waves that sang me right to sleep every night!! The pool was amazing! What a great place to call home on vacation! The perfect combination of weather offers a taste of the entire Island!❤️💕❤️

Beautiful quiet place

We loved our stay in this house, in a quiet neighborhood. There is a beach overlook (no water access) 0.7 miles down the road. The pool was clean and fairly warm. The layout of the house was great, lots of space, large kitchen, laundry room, 2 car garage, water toys… Groceries r a 10min drive, Hilo is 20 min away. We hope to come back again.

Staycation

This is our second time we’ve rented this property. We do the weekly rate. It’s a spacious home with a great pool. It’s nice and private and the only thing you really need is groceries. Will most likely rent again
