Quiet secluded Thousand Oaks studio apartment within walking distance of beautiful Wildwood hiking/biking trails and minutes away from Cal Lutheran University. A thirty minute drive will get you to Malibu or Zuma Beach. Your room is a large bedroom with private entrance and patio overlooking a small garden of California native plants. We look forward to seeing you!

Beautiful hiking location

The owners were very gracious and more than helpful. There are many hiking trails in the area and it is centrally located in Thousand Oaks! Highly recommend this studio!

Nice place

I had to cut my trip short and only stayed one night but the area and home are nice and is a comfortable place to stay and the hosts are very friendly and accommodating.

Great place to stay!

I was in Thousand Oaks to visit my Aunt and this little gem was very close to her home. The space was so comfy and clean. I loved that there was a tea kettle, filtered water, coffee and snacks available. The bed was just right, I slept great. Thank you Klaus and Katlen for a wonderful stay, the chocolates were a lovely touch and much appreciated!

Four weeks in paradise

Spent a month here while working at the Reagan Library. Beautiful area with lots to do. The room is comfy and homely, Klaus and Katlen were friendly and gracious hosts throughout - no complaints whatsoever. Fabulous place!

Excellent location

We were visiting friends and the location was great! I was surprised there was no tv but it got us out to hike in Wildwood and check out Malibu. We met Klaus and enjoyed hearing about his music and my partner and him jammed! Excellent and we will stay there again next visit!

Cozy studio review

This studio was very comfortable, clean, easy to get to and had everything we needed for our stay. The owners were friendly and accommodating in every way while respecting our privacy. We would highly recommend this studio.

I loved how homey and attractive the owners made the apartment. They made themselves available if I needed anything, which I didn’t, since they thought of everything. I would definitely stay there again!!

.A Comfy and Sweet Place to Stay

We had a restful and safe visit. Klaus was accommodating and kind in every way, including bringing me loose leaf tea with the strainer when I asked. This is a walkable neighborhood with a fantastic wildland park nearby. Everything in the unit was clean to the max!! Will go again and to check out the nature that surrounds.

Comfortable pied-a-terre in Thousand Oaks

Arrived at night, yet was warmly greeted by Klaus, who made us feel right at home. Quiet, beautiful neighborhood, easy to find and to visit places in the area. Bed very comfortable, fresh air great for sleeping. Had some wifi issues that Klaus worked hard to fix. Made our stay in Thousand Oaks very pleasant.

Wonderful! Cozy!

Friendly, gracious owner greeted us to guide us to the room even though I checked in later than I thought I would. Very comfortable bed, cozy sheets and super clean room. Very cute backyard area. Quiet neighborhood. Would definitely book this again!

Wonderful hideaway in Thousand Oaks

Very thankful I found this lovingly decorated and comfortable apartment with separate entrance and ample street parking in Thousand Oaks! The hosts were kind and accommodating to the max. I couldn't have had a better stay. I truly felt I was staying with friends! Loved the hiking paths that began less than half a mile from my VRBO home in the lovely canyons. Would return anytime when back on work assignment - or holidays in Southern California. What a gem!

Pleasant stay

The owner was gracious and accommodating. The studio is in a nice residential area and even has a small garden patio. The queen bed was VERY comfortable. No tv, but we brought good books and a “tablet” and never missed the tv. Excellent value.

Lovely little place close to the freeway and convenient to all local attractions. The bed was really cozy and comfortable and made for great sleeping. The place has a small but very well appointed kitchenette and the hosts even provided snacks and bottled water. There is a beautiful park within walking distance where you will be able to do some great hikes. My only issue was that I did not receive any communication at all from the hosts, although the address was provided. As for check-in instructions I had to call Expedia (which I booked through). This may be more a reflection on Expedia than the hosts, who were lovely and very receptive when I met them. I would definitely return if back in the Thousand Oaks area.

What a great place to stay. I was in town for a family gathering and arrived later than expected, Klaus was understanding and accommodating. The room, bathroom and kitchenette were just right, clean and well stocked in every way. I wish I'd spent more time at the Hideaway and explored the hiking, it looked great. I'll try and stay again when I'm in the area again, it's a wonderful place.
