This home is very close to Swansboro, NC, about 15 minutes from Emerald Isle Beach and about 20 minutes from Jacksonville, NC. The home is located in a quiet neighborhood providing a peaceful, tranquil environment, complete with a large fenced yard. A marina is less than one mile down the road and on the inter coastal waterway. The area is excellent for fishing and kayaking, and it has beautiful beaches for playing in the sand! We have a large fenced in back yard that is great for kids and pets.

First time in the area. Loved the home and costal town atmosphere. The beagle house is close to everything needed. The beach is an easy 15 minute drive. The spacious fenced in yard was loved by the fur babies. We plan to return again!

Great stay. Would recommend updating the listing as there is only one set of bunk beds, not two. Everything else was perfect. Would love to stay again.

This was our 4th stay here in the past 6 years.Best ( dog friendly) house in the area!!Great location when visiting the Gold Coast \ Camp Lejeune area.The Host is also quick getting back to you with any questions.

Fantastic retreat! We had an amazing stay—clean, spacious, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The house had a cozy, coastal vibe and was just a short drive to the beach. Loved the quiet neighborhood and easy access to local spots. We’re already talking about our next trip back!

Absolutely Amazing

This property is by far the best accomodations we have ever had in all the trips to Swansboro. Super clean, great area, plenty of room!

Great space

This property was right in the middle of all the fun things that this area has to offer. It was comfortable and spacious, and we loved that we got to bring our dog and have a large backyard to play with her.

Great place to stay, conveniently located, spacious and plenty of room to run for the kids

Beautiful place. Plenty of room for the kids to run outside. Great neighborhood to take a stroll in. Spacious inside and plenty of amenities. You won't be disappointed!!!!

Very clean and welcoming property. 20 min drive to West Emerald Isle Access. No major issues that Steve couldn’t handle. We were pleased with our stay.

Family Birthday Celebration

We stayed here to attend birthday celebrations for our uncle, who turned 100. We had a wonderful time, and the house was just perfect for us. This is a very clean, well-equipped home with a beautiful fenced yard in a nice, quiet neighborhood. We loved our visit and the homeowner, Steve Norwood, was just terrific. We will be back.

Wonderful house and good distance to beach

The house is absolutely wonderful! It feels so cozy and safe like you're at your own house. There’s A lot of space and plenty of light and the backyard is huge and perfect for kids and pets. Very clean throughout the house and yard with no issues. Very peaceful neighborhood. The kitchen has everything you need and everything works well in the house. We really enjoyed our stay and can hopefully come back when we go to the beach again. Thanks for sharing such a lovely home!

The house was very nice. I was a little disappointed in the cleanliness there was some issues with that but not major. We did book this house based on the amount of beds and there was only 1 set of bunk beds not 2 as described. Thankfully we were able to rearrange some people and make it work but we did plan on 2 sets of bunk beds. Also no fooseball table as seen in the pictures.

Issue with trash being full, owner did respond promptly to empty cans. Issue with roaches, owner was going to send exterminator - never saw him.
