FREE NON-MOTORIZED RENTALS! The Cozy Cottage is close to the lake, restaurants, boating, hiking...Yosemite is 16 miles away. Newly renovated, very private cottage - Great for romantic getaways, solo adventures, and small families .. comfortable for 2 but can accommodate 4 (using the sofa-sleeper). Great appliances/laminated & tile floors/washer & dryer in unit/beach towels/toiletries. WiFi, Board Games, Smart TV with Netflix, and a private deck out back with BBQ. Private Lakeside beach area available only to this neighborhood.
We live in a quiet neighborhood - all residential. Most of the homes are second homes. You can walk to the lake (in 5 minutes ... approx 75 yards), walk to the village (in about 15 minutes) and walk to a great hiking trail (15 min). Lake temperature during the summer ranges from 70-80 degrees. There is a beach area by our community dock which is ideal for summer days lakeside.

Cozy is Right!

Dwight and Stephanie have a splendid slice of heaven on their hands! The cottage is the perfect size for two adults needing some R&R. Thanks so much for your warm hospitality! We wanted for nothing and absolutely enjoyed every minute of our stay!

Beautiful experience

This was our second time staying here and it was just as great as the first. The hosts are incredible and the property is less than 2 minutes from a private beach! I absolutely would recommend and plan to stay here again.

Summer 2004 4th of July

We had a wonderful time. Stephanie was fantastic and quickly responded to any questions. We were able to hangout and swim off the dock and the little beach was a godsend as it was over 100 degrees everyday. But the water temp was lovely. Thanks for sharing your home with us.

Cozy and ideal starting point to explore Yosemite from

We spent a few very relaxing days here, the lodge had all the equipment we could've needed, everything was very well organized and labelled. Check-in went super smoothly and our hosts gave great recommendations for the area/Bass Lake and useful info for visiting Yosemite (thanks again!). We loved winding down at the lodge, on the deck especially, and would definitely stay again!

Sister's getaway

My sister and I plan getaway trip one or twice a year. This was one of our best trips. Accommodations were accurately reported. We had everything we needed and then some. Lots of cute little reminders and helpful instructions everywhere. Added a personal touch. Hosts were the best. Bed as exceptional. Would not hesitate staying here again. Cozy Cottage at Bass Lake was the perfect choice

We loved the cottage. It was perfect for us. The cottage was very clean and equipped with everything. The location was centrally located to all the places we wanted to visit. Great place!

This cottage is cozy and comfortable! We had a wonderful stay and the hosts are great people. We felt very at home and the full kitchen, bath, laundry room, etc were well updated, and stocked! The bed is super comfortable! Can't say enough, we will definitely be back!

Absolutely the best VRBO experience

The cottage was very charming, and beautifully decorated. It felt like a home away from home. It had absolutely everything anyone would hope for in a vacation rental. The cottage was very clean and well organized. So many thoughtful touches on behalf of Dwight and Stephanie, whom are exceptionally kind. The location was perfect; within walking distance to the lake and the shops in town. They even have a California King bed...and had the best sleep in my life! In-house laundry, an awesome patio; I could go on and on. I will be recommending this rental to any couple desiring to go to Bass Lake, and will only stay here when we return. It was that wonderful, and I will always be grateful to Dwight and Stephanie for the best anniversary trip of our life.

Cozy Cottage is a perfect getaway.

Owners are prompt communicators and the perfect hosts ! They have gone out of their way to make sure the cottage has everything you need, including soap, shampoo, coffee supplies and bowls for your fur babies. Everything is well labeled, and thoughtfully provided. Quiet and off the main road, lovely deck with comfy chairs to spend a quiet afternoon enjoying nature or reading a book, but close enough to the "action".

Perfectly Restful

We rented this cabin for our granddaughter's nurse to stay in during our family vacation. She really appreciated having a place to rest and unwind after a day's work. The cabin was adorable and had everything she needed. It's perfect for a single person or small group.

Wonderful, cozy cabin

This is one of the best places we have ever stayed. All the comforts of home are here. The sunsets from the deck are gorgeous. It was the perfect size for my husband and me. The cottage is close to town and a short drive to Yosemite. Stephanie and Dwight are wonderful hosts.

We had a very nice time, we had lots of fun at the lake and Dwight the property owner gave us a nice tour, and Stephanie was very friendly and helpful showing us around the cottage, my boyfriend even proposed to me the night we got there so now I am engaged! Cottage at the lake

We loved staying at Bass Lake. It’s a beautiful area and a cute little village. The cottage was clean and very well stocked. The owner provided tips on local restaurants and hiking trails.

Great place!

The location was great, less than a 3 minute drive to the lake. The place was very clean and cozy/homey. My mom and I stayed and it was the perfect size for the two of us. The owners were extremely nice and readily available if needed. Would definitely recommend!
