Bass Lake Cozy Cottage near Yosemite

FREE NON-MOTORIZED RENTALS! The Cozy Cottage is close to the lake, restaurants, boating, hiking...Yosemite is 16 miles away. Newly renovated, very private cottage - Great for romantic getaways, solo adventures, and small families .. comfortable for 2 but can accommodate 4 (using the sofa-sleeper). Great appliances/laminated & tile floors/washer & dryer in unit/beach towels/toiletries. WiFi, Board Games, Smart TV with Netflix, and a private deck out back with charcoal BBQ. Private Lakeside beach area available only to this neighborhood.
We live in a quiet neighborhood - all residential. Most of the homes are second homes. You can walk to the lake (in 5 minutes ... approx 75 yards), walk to the village (in about 15 minutes) and walk to a great hiking trail (15 min). Lake temperature during the summer ranges from 70-80 degrees. There is a beach area by our community dock which is ideal for summer days lakeside.

Excellent Holiday Stay

Beautiful experience

This was our second time staying here and it was just as great as the first. The hosts are incredible and the property is less than 2 minutes from a private beach! I absolutely would recommend and plan to stay here again.

Cottage is lovely. Hosts are friendly and helpful. Dwight took us around and showed us what Bass Lake area offered.

Cozy is Right!

Dwight and Stephanie have a splendid slice of heaven on their hands! The cottage is the perfect size for two adults needing some R&R. Thanks so much for your warm hospitality! We wanted for nothing and absolutely enjoyed every minute of our stay!

Cozy and ideal starting point to explore Yosemite from

We spent a few very relaxing days here, the lodge had all the equipment we could've needed, everything was very well organized and labelled. Check-in went super smoothly and our hosts gave great recommendations for the area/Bass Lake and useful info for visiting Yosemite (thanks again!). We loved winding down at the lodge, on the deck especially, and would definitely stay again!

Great place!

This cottage is cozy and comfortable! We had a wonderful stay and the hosts are great people. We felt very at home and the full kitchen, bath, laundry room, etc were well updated, and stocked! The bed is super comfortable! Can't say enough, we will definitely be back!

Cottage at the lake

We loved staying at Bass Lake. It’s a beautiful area and a cute little village. The cottage was clean and very well stocked. The owner provided tips on local restaurants and hiking trails.

Perfectly Restful

We rented this cabin for our granddaughter's nurse to stay in during our family vacation. She really appreciated having a place to rest and unwind after a day's work. The cabin was adorable and had everything she needed. It's perfect for a single person or small group.

Wonderful, cozy cabin

This is one of the best places we have ever stayed. All the comforts of home are here. The sunsets from the deck are gorgeous. It was the perfect size for my husband and me. The cottage is close to town and a short drive to Yosemite. Stephanie and Dwight are wonderful hosts.

Enjoyable

We had a very nice time, we had lots of fun at the lake and Dwight the property owner gave us a nice tour, and Stephanie was very friendly and helpful showing us around the cottage, my boyfriend even proposed to me the night we got there so now I am engaged! I definitely will be returning again❤️💍😁

The place was perfect as described, Stephanie and Dwight were lovely wonderful hosts. There was nothing we needed, everything was clear and easy to find. It was a great deal for staying by the lake. The pullout bed in the living room was was more comfortable than I expected! Everything was lovely.

Cozy Cottage is a perfect getaway.

Owners are prompt communicators and the perfect hosts ! They have gone out of their way to make sure the cottage has everything you need, including soap, shampoo, coffee supplies and bowls for your fur babies. Everything is well labeled, and thoughtfully provided. Quiet and off the main road, lovely deck with comfy chairs to spend a quiet afternoon enjoying nature or reading a book, but close enough to the "action".

Cozy retreat

We only have good things to say about this place and our stay here. Dwight and Stephanie are excellent hosts. Stephanie was gone when we checked in but Dwight came right over to welcome us and show us the place and explained some things to us. Stephanie left us a couple of small bottles of Stella Rosa for our anniversary and they made us a cute magnet. The king size bed is very comfortable and the place had everything we needed. We definitely will stay again.
