My daughter and I rented this home in Center Harbor, NH for 4 nights to check off one of her bucket list trips to see the fall foliage in New England. Charlie was an excellent host and he his wife prepared a very detailed document with information about the house, recommended restaurants and things to do and the very easy check out process that he sent to me as soon as we booked the property. The home was clean when we arrived, the beds are very comfortable and the home has everything we needed to thoroughly enjoy our stay. 10/10 recommend this place!

The house was wonderful and beautifully decorated. It had everything we needed especially traveling with one year old. The lower living room was perfect with toys and games available that kept everyone entertained. A few issues arose upon arrival that had to do with previous visitors and Charlie addressed them immediately. The hosts are truly interested in making Riverview Haven a top notch vacation experience, which it definitely was for our group. We will look forward to returning!

Our family absolutely loved this rental. The house is gorgeous - stylish, comfortable, and clearly cared for. Its location made it easy to explore all the best parts of Lake Winnipesaukee, and having kayaks available was such a fun perk. One of our favorite features was the upstairs reading nook. It’s the perfect quiet corner to unwind, with big windows that let you take in the scenery. The hosts went above and beyond with their responsiveness and the fantastic local guide they provided. We felt welcomed and well taken care of from start to finish. Highly recommend!

The place is amazing.The owners really have equipped the house with all the basic amenities and then so to make the trip enjoyable. No matter where you are in the mountains by water there will be bugs but they have done everything possible to minimize them with every bug prevention trick in the books. The hosts are always quick to reply and provide any information you may need. The views of the river are amazing and some of us went kayaking on the lake!Would definitely stay again in the future!

Thanks so much Michael, and thanks for pointing that out. for anyone reading this, here is what we do; - professional mosquito and tick spray - mosquito skeeter vacuum covering 1 acre running 24/7 across summer - 6 LED UV mosquito posts - Yellow jacket and fly traps around the perimeter - complimentary bug spray and repellant - bug zapper rackets and netted hats for walks We really do everything we possibly can to minimize the inevitable that comes with each season and the mountain/woods/water of NH. You guys are welcome back anytime! Love the photos.

Absolutely beautiful home. Everything was super clean, easy to cook in kitchen with all the supplies. Plenty of space inside for relaxing. Close to town but very private. Will be staying here again!

First and foremost, The owners were fantastic to work with, always responsive in getting back to me on all emails and any questions that I had. The design and layout of the property made us feels like home. From the smallest details everything was thought of. The house is spacious, full of light and has a peaceful view. I would recommend this property for a restful get away to anyone who needs to unplug. Our stay was absolutely what we needed. Even our two small pups were very content.

This was an amazing place to stay and had many convenient amenities. The view from the house was beautiful and very clean. It was such a peaceful place to stay. I would highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a relaxing outdoor vacation.

The host was responsive and warm. The house was thoughtfully designed for a single family or multiple. 3 generously sized “chill” spaces and a cozy nook for the younger ones.

Charles is a great host!!! Highly recommend!

The views of the lake and river are spectacular, it was perfect for a relaxing vacation! The home is beautiful and was very clean. We are not familiar with the area, but Charlie and Kayla were so helpful preparing us for our trip with the family. Will definitely stay again, thank you!

The host, Charles, was very welcoming, accommodating and responsive when we had questions. The house was as depicted and very comfortable. It was well stocked and included thoughtful items not normally provided in other VRBOs we've stayed at. There were 4 of us and everyone felt the same. The inclement weather on one day changed our plans, but only made us appreciate the house that much more.

If you are looking for a quiet and relaxing vacation, this is the home for you. The home is very cozy with nice views of the river and forest. Clean, well stocked kitchen and comfortable beds.The home is located 10 minutes from great restaurants, shopping, hiking and site seeing activities.The owner is very responsive and helpful with all questions and suggestions. They provide a very comprehensive guidebook, which was appreciated. We would recommend this home for couples or families.

The best spot for a family getaway!

You can tell Charlie and kayla are both parents - they really did think of everything, even the small details to cater for a family getaway. Our kids loved the hidden bunk bed room behind the bookshelf door especially! All the games, books and toys kept them busy and we all loved the peaceful location by the river/lake. Highly recommend this to others.

Amazing place

1st of all this place has everything you forgot! They literally thought of everything. We were here in the fall and just the scenery alone was worth it.The hosts were incredible they are quick to respond and so helpful. Never in our travels have we encountered such kind professional hosts this makes everything easier when traveling! The house was clean and has it all, books, games, our family enjoyed this home. Should we ever return to New Hampshire this is where we will be staying!!

Christmas Vacation

This was our 1st Christmas from home, my mom passed last March and we decided to get away. We enjoyed this lovely house and went snow mobiling,snow tubing and enjoyed the shopping and restaurants. This is a vacation we will always treasure . The owners of this house are lovely people they truly want you to enjoy your stay. Charlie and Kayla really thought of everything you would need while on vacation. I highly recommend this for a vacation house. We've stayed at many other vacation houses over the years and this house was the nicest and best equipped house we ever stayed at, not to mention the best hosts also.

Charlie and Kayla’s place was just what our family needed this summer! Not only were the views amazing with a short walk to the water for paddle boarding, but the inside was beautifully decorated, clean, and had everything our family needed to make packing easier. It was very obvious that a lot of thoughtfulness was put into every space of this beautiful home. Traveling with a baby is challenging, but Riverview Haven had everything we would ever need for a comfortable stay, including high chair, pack n play, dishes, baby gates, etc. Charlie was very easy to communicate with and quick to respond to any questions we had. Everything you would need is only about a 10 minute drive away (groceries, gym, doggie day care, restaurants, etc.). Our family will surely be back to visit next time we’re in New Hampshire! Book Charlie and Kayla’s place; you won’t regret it!

Modern updated tranquil

We wanted a to get away from the hussle of everyday work life - this home gave us just that! The host was great, responsive and resourceful. The home its self was fully equipped with everything, we had our 10 and 15 year old the space for Perfect, one took over the basement the other was happy in her own room. The view from the primary bedroom was gorgeous to look at. At night sitting other deck listening to nature and star gazing was Perfect. Not much of a yard space but just walking distance to a dock where a canoe is provided my husband caught great size bass. It’s a perfect getaway home I would absolutely recommend. Location is driving distance to the center shops and restaurants.
