This was our second stay here for my birthday, and let’s just say it was AMAZING.. such a beautiful home. With a private fishing dock! So relaxing, and the pool was loved by us all ! Definitely will be staying here next family occasion

Our stay at the property was wonderful. The house was lovely and the view was incredible. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. My one complaint is that the pool wasn't very clean, but everything else was great! Would definitely re-book!

Thanks for the great review Megan! Our apologies for the pool, although do wish you would've let us know so we could've addressed it while you were there. Our pool cleaners are there weekly, however because we love having the shaded yard, it can sometimes be hard to keep every piece of tree dirt/debris from getting into the pool even through the screens, especially if it happens to be a bit of rain, but we're confident knowing at least its not algae etc...but can understand how it could be not what is expected. At any rate, I'd just suggest if there's ever anything not to your satisfaction that you make the owner aware and give us a chance to take care of it for you. But glad you enjoyed yourselves overall, we hope you'll come again! Valerie

I loved the location, communication was excellent, beds were comfortable - I would highly recommend!

Great Lake spot

House was very clean and easy access. We had a great stay with friends for a couple nights while we were riding motorcycles throughout the area.

Comfortable and peaceful

Great property located on the lake with a dock on the water or a pool and patio to enjoy the beautiful sites. Great place to lay your head and relax after a couple busy days exploring the area.

Great location, right on the water, comfortable stay!

Lots of gator sightings right from the house, super cool! The house was so well decorated and equipped with anything we would need. The owners were easy to correspond with and access to the house was seamless. A wonderful visit.

Very cozy and relaxing, checking in was easy, you download the app and it unlocks with a tap upon arrival. Hosts were amiable and replied to questions promptly. We have a big family, the kids and grandchildren enjoyed the canoes, fishing and the pool. there isn't a grill thats the only thing I'd say would be a great addition to this cute boho find. Thank you for letting us stay in you're home we had a wonderful time.

stay at the Lake

the house was clean and the access to the lake was good. Parked my small boat next to the dock on the canal. the wind blew 15-20 knots each day making fishing on the lake tough. I did catch a nice few fish from the edge of the yard. great bass lake and good bream as well. played golf each day at courses within and hour drive. the neighborhood is very old and in poor repair which was the only negative.

Great fishing!

We chose this house primarily for the location on the lake and fishing potential and it did not disappoint! End of March apparently is not bass season, but my husband and son caught lots of huge bowfin right off the dock. They also made friends with a with a local neighbor who took them out on his boat where they caught 37 huge bluegills! Loved my quite peaceful mornings sitting out on the dock listening to the birds and watching an alligator float back and forth further out in the lake. The pool is not heated FYI (not a deal breaker for us). Enjoyed the food and vibe at Big Bass Grill for dinner. Loved the unique decor at this house and overall really enjoyed our stay!

Wonderful stay!

We had a wonderful honeymoon here! Tons of wildlife to see, very peaceful. The house itself was comfortable, beautiful with concrete floors, and had great decor that is unique and fun but not tacky. It was very clean and had everything we needed. We had a couple issues at first with the lock but it seemed to resolve itself and we didn’t have to worry about it for the rest of the trip. Our only real complaint was that the pool area could use some TLC but the host was very friendly and checked in on us a few times and said they had plans to do some work out there just hadn’t had an appropriate amount of time yet. I’ll also mention if you are someone who wants to experience the local culture there really is nothing to do in the immediate area. We drove about 30 minutes to a nearby community near the Villages for dinner a couple times that was a lot of fun but the location is definitely probably best for people who want to stay at the house and relax for the majority of their trip. We were very comfortable and happy with our stay and would definitely recommend it and come back :)

If youre thinking about it- just do it

Quite the lovely experience! My partner and I loved everything about the place we wish we sayed longer. If you're looking to get away from the hustle and bustle this is the place for you! So much wildlife and beautiful nature it is too hard not to want to stay again! Few things to note- This lake is full of alligator sightings, so if you're looking to kayak keep that in mind, this also means so swimming. It is also a bit tough to launch the kayaks though. Great place close to springs, about an hour to hour and a half to most springs. Outdoor patio did have a little bit of cobwebs/spiders but it wasn't too much of a bother understanding we were in central Florida. They weren't big, if you don't bother them they don't bother you (I'm personally scared of spiders and they didnt bother me). They offer board games, outside toys, body products like body wash and hair wash, some spices and a lot of different cookware which was very nice! Overall communication and description of the property were spot on! We look forward to coming back in the future! Thank you for everything!

And sorry about the pesky spiders, they build those darn things faster than we can keep up with, it is an ongoing task and taken care of with each checkout believe it or not. You're right, it's Florida, and we've got lots of trees! Thanks for helping with that! So glad you got out on the lake, and got to see gators and all of the wildlife - we never feel like we have enough time up there either! We look forward to your next visit!

The pictures were staged well on the site. The house was not attractive from the outside. The pictures don’t show stains and holes in furniture, the cracks in the ceiling, one covered by painters tape, the taped shut toilet that wasn’t usable…We couldn’t fish off the dock because of all the weeds. The gators come right by the dock so I wasn’t keen on sending my kids in a kayak. The pool wasn’t turned on or clean upon arrival. We showered and the drain was so slow, the tub filled up. We left after the first night and found another Vrbo.
