Our stay at Carols cottage was absolutely amazing. The cottage was adorable and exactly as pictured. We ended up getting hit by a pretty bad storm with downed trees around the area and loss of power. Carol and her husband showed up immediately with comforting words and supplies! We are so happy we found this little gem in Baileys Harbor. Can’t wait for our next stay!!

The cutest and most perfect cottage stay

This was truly the most perfect cottage stay in Door County. I visited for a weekend with my sisters, and we were blown away by how amazing the place was. It was somehow even more beautiful than we had imagined. The property is filled with flowers and beautiful bird sounds and trees, while being close to so many restaurants, beaches, and shops in Door County. The place was super clean, had such incredible charm and character, and the check in and check out process was super easy. I couldn't recommend more.

A great getaway

We loved Door County and we loved having this as our home base! The property was extremely clean and well cared for. I loved being able to get up early in the morning, get coffee made, and go read in the dining room. The bedroom was quite comfortable, especially with the fan going! A top notch property!

Perfect couple getaway spot

This cottage was the perfect home base for our trip to Door County. The cottage was very clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated with everything we needed. We loved that it is nestled in the woods with beautiful landscaping. A perfect place to return to after visiting the busier areas of Door County yet it was close enough to places we wanted to visit. Loved enjoying morning coffee outside listening to the sounds of nature and watching the hummingbirds. I highly recommend!

Beautiful setting

The most quiet, peaceful setting - surrounded by beautiful landscaped gardens and wonderful areas to sit and enjoy the outdoors. Easy access to great bike rides and places to sit near the water.

Good Things in Small Packages

We absolutely loved this quaint cottage in Bailey’s Harbor. The owners put a lot of thought into making this a very comfortable home and making our stay top notch. Very well stocked kitchen, with all the extras you wouldn’t expect like bottled water, snacks upon you checkin, laundry soap, baggies, food storage containers, bug spray etc. Simple but thoughtful items to make your stay more comfortable! The cabin is in a great location and easy to get to all the peninsula’s other towns. Owners were very responsive prior and during our stay. Highly recommend this cottage!!

Charming and Beautiful Cottage

Every part of the cottage and grounds exceeded our expectations! We arrived to beautifully landscaped gardens, a nice deck and patio in a quiet location. The owners took great care in thinking of every possible amenity, immaculately clean house, and tasteful and relaxing decor. Owners responded immediately to any questions. The bed was deliciously soft, the kitchen had every item we could possibly need to cook, and the chairs and coaches were luxuriously comfortable. The location is perfectly situated 5-7 minutes from town, the beach, hiking, and other activities while be just enough off the main drag to be quiet and private. We adored this cottage and look forward to coming back again!

We are Door County Natives with Two Children. We live Close by and have enjoyed raising our Family on the Quiet Side for over twenty years. We enjoy Biking, Hiking and all the Nature that brings us living in Door County.
