We had an amazing stay while in DC for Easter. The house was close to the bus & metro so we were able to take public transportation everywhere. There was a good coffee shop nearby and lots of restaurants within walking distance. Jack the host was very responsive to any questions we had. Thank you for a great stay!

Great for group work trip

We stayed to work together and see some sights. Very comfortable house too work and a good location within easy walking distance to groceries and restaurants. Comfy beds.

Great place for a family/vacation base in NW DC.

Jack’s house is a wonderful place to stay if you are looking for a family vacation rental. We had everything we needed for 5 people and hosting family dinners for extended family while visiting DC. We would not hesitate to rent this down stairs duplex again.

Fabulous Week in Chevy Chase

Spacious, clean and well stocked apartment close to stores and very central for everything our family needed to do while visiting DC for a family wedding. Nice kitchen and 3 good size bedrooms worked well for us as a family of 4 adults.

Our family had a wonderful stay over the Thanksgiving week. The host is very communicative on any matter. The home is extremely comfortable, including super comfortable beds. Nice living room area for visiting and lounging. Well equipped kitchen. Bathroom has a really nice shower and plenty of towels. Lovely yard and convenient location. Bright and cheery space. Second time we have stayed here and highly recommend!!!! Thanks to our host!!

Quiet Chevy Chase getaway

We were reluctant to book a new listing without reviews but were glad we did! The house is in a tranquil neighborhood, spotless, with new appliances. There is easy access to shopping in the Chevy Chase area and it takes approximately 25 minutes to reach the National Mall. We would definitely book this house again.

Lovely, comfortable home in very nice walkable neighborhood

Family of 6 plus one infant. We enjoyed our stay. The owner was always accessible for questions or needs. Home and kitchen was well equipped. All beds very comfortable. Lots of space to relax. Well furnished bedrooms with closet space and desks. One bathroom but it worked for our family. Nice crib for baby. Recommend highly!!

Great family home in a fantastic location.

Overall the house was great. Everything worked, check in was easy and having parking in the back was great. Pros: spacious, quiet, back yard for kids to play in is fenced in. Location is awesome, you can walk to Town center with multiple restaurants, shopping, bars, lunch spots etc. and not worry about parking. Cons: There is no jetted spa as advertised, the 1 bathroom is very small. Lack or cleaning supplies, no dish rags, dust pan, mop or wet Swiffer, master bedroom bed is uncomfortable and very squeaky.

Conrad- thanks for your stay, we appreciate the feedback. You are right, we have a brand new bath but it does not include a jetted spa - and we have updated the listing: normally we are very well stocked with cleaning supplies - I will make sure it is restocked and anything missing is replaced. We will also replace the mattress in the master bedroom and fix the squeaky bed frame problem.
