Lovely getaway

Charming, on the beach house

This was perfect place for my dog and I to escape. Charming and cosy, very easy to relax and enjoy the excellent view of the water. Excellent communications with the owner. Will be planning more escapes to this wonderful place in the future.

Great stay

We loved this house! The location was perfect - grocery store and restaurants not more than 2 minutes away. And the view! We thoroughly enjoyed watching the water while we ate dinner and played cards.

A lovely getaway

Our family loved the view and features of this house. The beds were very comfortable. Having a playground nearby was nice for our grands. The owner was friendly and accessible.

The Perfect, Simple Getaway

This charming home is located right on the water, with the sounds of the waves capturing our hearts right away. There was plenty of space for the family and enough extras, like the piano, games and puzzles, to make it easy to cozy up on the comfy couch or sit on the back deck watching the wildlife and waves. We will definitely be coming back!

Lovely Little House!

This house is a great location, right on the water and pet friendly! We walked our dog around the neighborhood a few times and she loved it. The location was really great and central, just a few blocks from the grocery store and coffee shops. The owners were great at communicating everything for check-in and provided everything we would need for the stay, including plenty of towels, blankets, and space heaters in every room, which was a nice touch for the winter month. I would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful West Coast Home

My family and I had a great stay at Jessica’s place. The home is lovely and location is beautiful. We used the kayaks, enjoyed sitting on the deck in the morning with a cup of coffee and loved the peaceful neighborhood. Jess was a wonderful and responsive host. We highly recommend this vacation home.

A wonderful getaway

We had such a relaxing stay on Baby Beach :) It was perfect for me, my husband and our toddler with loads of family friendly activities around the island, but also just the right amount of space in the home. The views were spectacular and the home had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. We especially loved the fireplace and the kayaks, as well as the park for our little one that was in walking distance! Will definitely be back!

Beautiful View

This was a fall girlfriend getaway. We enjoyed the patio, beach and views on our sunny day and stayed warm playing cards and watching stormy water on day 2. Jess was very accommodating and responsive.

Charming home with beautiful views!

We rented this house for Christmas weekend. All of us were comfortable and so taken with the views from the giant bay windows. We were graced by a whale pod a couple of times during our stay to make it all the more magical. 10/10 will be back!

Hope to stay again!

We had a wonderful long weekend at the beach house. So comfortable and stocked with everything we needed. We stayed cozy with the wood stove (with an ample supply of seasoned firewood...thank you) and an amazing view down the bay. Enjoyed our beach walks and close proximity to the neighborhood park. Great location, close to groceries & restaurants in Freeland, and just a short drive to Double Bluff, Bayview and Langley. Great communication with our host, Jess. Hope we get to return in warmer weather & get some kayaking time on the tranquil water. Thank you for sharing your beach house with us!

Amazing getaway in middle of winter

Jess' place is so great, very homey, can't wait to come back in summer/fall season to experience the inviting fire pit and SUP. Kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need, spice and appliance wise, as well as accessories. Jess is great at communicating and super prompt to take care of anything that comes up. I highly recommend this place for families, plenty of rooms and beds to spread out in. Also, if you have a toddler/baby, great house. Has a lot of entertainment for kids and some kids books and toys. Overall, highly recommended and we will be back :)

Older property with character and charm. If you like living in a home and not a glass and steel box by the water . then this is the place. Serenity is a word to that comes to mind when you pick this part of Freeland Town - Whidbey Island Washington State.

Great Fully Equipped House!

This was a wonderful house right on the water in Freeland, WA. Not only is this probably the best location on the whole bay, but the house has everything you need to have a great time. Within walking distance to great stores that have everything you need. We had my in laws and my 16 month old son and we all had an amazing time. the owner was very responsive and generous with their supplies and amenities!

Mother / Daughter Spring 2010

I rented the beach house spring 2010. I brought my Mom for a Mother / Daughter weekend. The house very nice and has everything that you need. It is indeed a magical place, a cozy home with beautiful views right on the water! I will be back! Thank you so much.

Amazing view!

The view is beautiful- steps away from the beach. I was fortunate enough to stay 4 months. Friendly neighbors and a great place to bring my dog - Had a problem with the host coming onto the property and into the house the first two months. It was resolved when it was addressed .

A new favorite place!

My husband, dog Buddy, and I stayed at Baby Beach from Sat-Mon and we had a wonderful time. The weather worked in our favor and we traveled around Whidbey each day and the beach house was perfect to come home to. The views are just amazing and Buddy loved walking up and down the beach, chasing birds, sniffing shells and seaweed. Before the weekend was over, we were talking about coming back in summer for more hiking and farmers' markets! The house is very comfortable and had everything we needed. We will definitely come back to Baby Beach.

Perfect view!

We had an amazing time on Whidbey with this home as our base. It's so close to the water -- the kids loved being able to run outside onto the beach to collect rocks or shells. And from the huge picture window in the mornings, we watched eagles, several kinds of ducks, a loon trying to swallow a too-big fish, and even two otters. The home itself is dated but comfortable, and very well equipped. There's a playground a few minutes in one direction, and a great grocery store just up the hill. We also enjoyed a few side trips to Double Bluffs Park and Port Townsend.

Just like Home Sweet Home

Our second visit this year. Love this charming little house on the harbor. Not modern by any means, but has all the comforts of home. This house is right on the water and so very peaceful! My husband and I can sit for hours on the deck or lawn, glass of wine in hand, watching the water, listening to the seagulls and surf.....so relaxing. Our dog loves to play in the water. Close to grocery store and other towns (i.e., Langley, etc..)

We are a couple who live on Whidbey Island about 20 minute drive from the beach vacation house.: one American and one British Ex-Pat. We have lived on Whidbey for 16 years and can tell you all the local secrets. Also have lived in: New Jersey, the Bay Area, Japan, England, and Central America. Attended University of California at Berkeley and Leeds University UK.
