Will Stay Again

We are a family of 6 and needed a place to stay while visiting family. Our kids are older, ages 20 - 23, so I like them to have their own space when we travel. The accommodations were everything we needed for this trip, having access to a washer and dryer would be nice for longer trips though. The kitchen was well stocked, beds were clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was very nice.Contact with the home owner was very easy and pleasant. Scott was very gracious and replied to my messages quickly.We also loved the location! We’d like to stay here in the summer and take advantage of the lake and activities that are close by.

In town for a wedding

The home was clean and a great layout! Updated kitchen and bathrooms. Great amenities and wonderful communication with host. Would highly recommend and would stay again!

Review

House was nice and in great neighborhood, however we were forced to pay for the damage insurance in order to reserve the stay, a couple hours after leaving we got a damage claim email that the owner claimed damage on stuff we didn’t even use. We were there less than 12 hours, only to sleep yet somehow we created $1500 in damage on stuff we didn’t use, while the doors wouldn’t even completely close. The claim looks fraudulent in my eyes and disappointed that happened because the stay itself was nice.

Perfect house for friends

We had a group of five adults, everyone was completely comfortable in any room they had. The owners are great and very helpful. We would recommend this beautiful house to anyone. I will miss my morning coffee on the back deck.

Scott is the best!

We stayed in town for a softball tournament. Scott was always available and willing to accommodate. The house was as listed and a beautiful property. I would highly recommend!

Everything we needed

As a family of 5, we don’t typically fit in the average hotel room. This house had plenty of space so we weren’t on top of each other. We were just passing through on a 2 day road trip. The beds were super comfy and location was great. Not too far from the interstate and right down the road from the airport (if you were flying).

Great location, Great house!

We really enjoyed our stay here! The entire house had great personal touches throughout, the kitchen was well stocked, everything was clean, and the host made sure we felt comfortable with everything. The home is centrally located, and is a short, convenient drive to anything that you need. Highly recommend!

This place is awesome.

Absolutely Amazing

This house was absolutely amazing. This house was a very nice, up to date, spacious home. The pictures do not do this justice. The owner Scott was very helpful with anything we needed and answered any questions that I had. Another positive about this house was location. Very close to restaurants and other available activities. This is a house we will definitely try to visit when we come back to Des Moines.

DSM 2023

In town for 2 family reunions. Great location from airport. This helped immensely with flight delays. House was just as pictured. Clean, comfy, cozy. Everything was up to date, new and did I say Clean?? Our host was welcoming and extremely helpful the duration of our stay. Will definitely look for his place for our next DSM visit. Racing Weekend

This property was perfect for the Indycar race we attended over the weekend! Also we made it down to see the Bridges of Madison County, and the John Wayne Museum. The house was very clean and remodeled. Very quiet neighborhood, and some good Restaurants. The Host was awesome, and we most definitely will stay there again when we’re in the area!

A Wedding at Blank Park Zoo

We rented this place to attend our (granddaughter’s/daughter’s/sister’s) wedding at Blank Park Zoo. The location was perfect being close to their venue. The house fit six adults just perfectly with room to spare! The furnishings and amenities were well above those we were used to in other rentals! The place was very clean and organized! The host was easy to reach and very punctual to answer any questions we had. I highly recommend choosing this location for your family’s visit to Des Moines!! Go check out the Blank Park Zoo! It’s such a lovely attraction for the whole family!

Great property

This property is definitely woth looking at. Location is key for me and it was perfect. Clean, quiet neighborhood. So close to everything you could want. Parks, restaurants, entertainment which we were in town for a show at the civic center. The place surpassed expectations as we had 2 single people and a couple. The home was inviting and clean. There is a full living upstairs and downstairs with the exception of a kitchen in the basement. If you are looking for a great place to be together but spread out to relax this place is awesome. Scott was very quick to respond and answer questions. I will definitely use again if in the area. Great job Scott for making us feel so welcome.

Hi, I have lived in the Des Moines area for over 18 years. I moved here from Santa Fe, NM. in 2004 and I can still remember how truly cold this place is. But I acclimated to the weather and love the four seasons here. I have three adult kids that also like in the area.

This property started out as a potential flip but as i continued to work on it, my thoughts turned to trying a short-term rental property. We have had a lot of fun furnishing and decorating this property. It has been completely remodeled from top to bottom.
