Host was very helpful, the house was very private but centrally located for day trips to Shenandoah and Monticello. The house had so many helpful amenities too! And we loved being able to bring our mini poodle with us. Thanks for a great stay!

During our four-night stay, the main issue we encountered was the cleanliness of the bedding it had an unpleasant odor and was noticeably dusty.

This review is dishonest. I'm not sure why this guest would write this, but he and his party never made it to the house. He called on the day of check-in and asked to cancel, which we accommodated. We then gave him a 50% refund out of kindness, even though no refund was required according to the cancellation policy. This review should have never been posted, because the guest didn't even reach the property. But after talking with Vrbo customer service, apparently they allow reviews from guests who cancel on the same day as check-in.

Check-in was easy, kitchen was well-stocked, WiFi was great. Bedrooms were really nice and the Master Bedroom mattress was perfect. We had a great stay and enjoyed having our two dogs with us.

The home was clean and had everything we needed. Kids loved the games. Appreciated the dog friendly environment, treats and bowls. It definitely lived up to its "peaceful" name. Got lucky with that gorgeous rhododendron in full bloom, loaded with butterflies. It smelled amazing, like it was greeting us! Would recommend and stay there again.

Peaceful and close to the park

Enjoyed our stay. The house was clean, very comfortable, and quiet. The perfect getaway, it’s just a short ride over to the park for hiking.

Lovely house with plenty of room. It has everything you need for a great vacation. It is very close to the National park entrance. We enjoyed hiking in the park, coffee and conversation on the porch and games at night.

Great stay, very accomadating. Feels just like a real home with real amenities, not somw quick junk bought at walmart to fill a vacation rental . Would definitely recommended staying . Even saw a bear !!

Lovely Rural Farmhouse

My family loved the location and coziness snug up against the mountains. The kitchen was fully stocked and we really enjoyed cooking there. Perfect place to spend New Years.

Perfect for our work trip!

We were visiting a client in rural Virginia and a hotel just didn’t make sense. The location as perfect and beautiful. We were so comfortable in the house and it was the best place to decompress after long days!

Great family getaway

Very private location, clean, roomy home with plenty of lovely touches to make this a wonderful Time away with family. We really enjoyed the outdoor fire pit and dvds and games the house had the offer. Bonus of some personal extras left by the hosts - fresh eggs and coffe were much appreciated!

Shenandoah/Charlottesville Weekend Getaway

The house was close to Shenandoah/Skyline Drive as well as Charlottesville where we spent some time. The house was beautiful and matched everything in the listing. The hosts were very responsive and provided everything needed for a great weekend. We highly recommend!

Adorable Farmhouse

We loved our stay in this beautiful farmhouse…lots of added perks (like fresh eggs), that made our stay enjoyable…..the swing…. hammock made the stay so much fun for my son, and I loved drinking my morning coffee on the porch and we appreciated that it is very Drive friendly.
