This was our first visit to Smith Mountain Lake area. The house was perfect for our family of five. We enjoyed hiking at the nearby state park and exploring the area surrounding Moneta. Plenty of room and fantastic memories playing pool & games. Thanks Anne for a great stay!

Beautiful place, peaceful, exactly as advertised.The host, Anne, was an absolute gem. Very, very responsive, took absolute care in quick responses to any questions. We hope to stay here in the future, wouldnt want to stay anywhere else, cannot imagine any other host being any more helpful!!Thank you Anne!!!

This is a beautiful property. We were there on a very hot week, and even with the drought and low water levels the dock had plenty of deep water. You could walk in if you wanted to, but climbed up and down the dock instead. The water was fabulous!The view was great as well, who doesn’t love the SML view! There is a slope to get to the dock but that is obvious in the pictures, very manageable with good balance. The downstairs stayed nice and cool when the heat of the day blasted the top floor with the fabulous windows- but the curtains help tremendously to keep the heat down. Communication with the host was easy, but we’ve been to SML many years so some of the things people don’t like don’t bother us at all. The beds were great, plenty of room, two refrigerators if needed, extra floats available… We had everything we needed! We even donated a puzzle we finished because there were puzzles available to use as well. And the BOOKS, if you need more to read they probably have it! Thank you for an amazing week.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at this wonderful lakefront home. Perfect place for a long weekend or a week or two during your summer vacation. The property is close to local amenities. The lot has a relatively gentle slope down to the lakefront. The boat dock is outstanding. The property gets the morning Sun and the sun rises our spectacular.

I don’t know how but our stay at SML just keeps getting better. This property is situated perfectly making use of the glorious sunshine and view of the lake. This property has everything required for a relaxing vocation.

The lake was beautiful and the location was wonderful. The home was clean and inviting and it was great to be able to bring the dogs. We loved having all the great water toys available to us. We rented a boat and it was nice to be able to have it right at the dock. The downside was the exterior maintenance.

We loved our stay at Smith Mountain Lake! The house was in the perfect location for swimming, tubing, kayaking and easy boat access, with the marina conveniently close by. It was the perfect size and had all the amenities we needed. Anne was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. The kitchen and bathrooms were clean, though the bedrooms and living areas could use a bit more attention from the cleaning crew. Overall, it was a wonderful place to stay!

SML Getaway

Great home, lots of room on the dock. Deep clean water. Great for swimming, fishing or just floating around. Nice neighbor, plenty of parking and plenty of floats for the lake.

Beautiful home

Our first time to SML and we had a great time! Host was incredibly responsive, home was well stocked, and we look forward to returning in the summer when we can enjoy all SML has to offer.

Great lake week

Had a fabulous time with our family and adult children. Great location on the lake. Spent our time hanging out on the dock and deck, and playing pool and foosball in the basement at night.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! This beautiful home has an amazing view of the lake and all the amenities you could possibly need. We stayed there as a family of 4 along with my parents and dog. All were comfortable in great beds, and all had their own space when desired. Great central spaces for gathering as well. Excellent and supportive communication from Anne!! Would absolutely stay again!!

Wonderful, would vacation here again

We really enjoyed our vacation here. We would vacation in this home again. It is well, equipped, clean, beautiful view, and lots of natural light. It was an ideal spot for all of our fun activities… Biking, hiking, kayaking, and dog walking. The owner, Anne was very responsive.

Scenic Lake Getaway

Our family of 6 had a wonderful stay at this property. Anne quickly responded to all questions we had. The quiet neighborhood location was just what we were looking for and the view of the lake from this home is lovely!
