Cozy Cabin in the Woods
Welcome to our custom-built log cabin on 6 acres in Danbury, WI. This is a 2 bedroom, 1.5 bath cabin with an expansive backyard & stunning patio. It features a stone fireplace, fire pit, lounge sofas, & dining tables. This cabin is private with lush woodlands around it and endless leisures like floating down the river in the summer sun or having a snowball fight as the flakes fall in winter. No matter the season, this cabin is perfect for family & friends to gather to enjoy each other’s company!
This cabin has character -from its honey-golden wooden beams to its ceiling-high stone fireplace, it will make you feel cozy right away. It is tucked away in the woods but not lacking luxe amenities. Read below to learn more about what is inside and beyond the cabin walls.
Sleeping Arrangements & Bathrooms
● Den: Main floor bedroom with Queen bed and a walk-in closet with extra guest supplies, and a pack ‘n play in the closet.
● Full bath with clawfoot soaking tub, standing shower, and sink with vanity
● Loft (no door): King bed, half-bath, and a lovely sitting area overlooking the main floor.
● Sunroom: Our 3-season porch has a cozy futon with accompanying black-out curtains for a comfortable sleep among the games and activities found in that room.
Kitchen & Laundry
● Laundry: In-unit washer & dryer available with supplies
● Kitchen: Unique copper-colored ceiling and floating island with barstools
● Coffee makers (drip, french press, pour-over), blender, kettle, and BBQ tools
● Fully-equipped with essential appliances, cookware, utensils, seasonings, and cleaning
products.
● Extra clean pillows & blankets, fresh paper products, cooking basics,
shampoo/conditioner, soaps, and linens will be provided for guests.
Living
● Stunning stone fireplace and seating (perfect for finishing that book!)
● Sunroom: Located off the main living area with access to the outdoor patio is the all-season sunroom filled with many games and activities for all ages of children!
● SmartTV and books
● Dining area with table for six

● Expansive wooded area with trees circling the property and plentiful wildlife
● Premiere patio with outdoor dining and extra seating
● Fire pit with free wood available

breakfast and baked goods!
● Archie & Arthur’s Icehouse (4.5 miles) -- Whether arriving by boat, ATV, car, or
foot, this eatery is a local hole-in-the-wall place with great specials!
● The Crow Bar (2.5 miles) -- Lively local bar with tasty appetizers and great live
music!
● Wildflower Kitchens (6.5 miles) -- This beloved bakery offers locally-sourced
ingredients baked into various pastries, breads, cookies, and other sweets.
● Log Cabin Store & Eatery (8.5 miles) -- This one-stop-shop has it all! Want
locally grown wild rice or the Wisconsin-loved Cedar Crest Ice Cream? Choose
from their wide variety of offerings including american foods, pizza, and even
leather goods.
● Swede’s Drive-In -- (9.5 miles) This fun drive-in spot is locally-loved for its
burgers, fresh hand-cut fries, sandwiches, and ice cream!
WHAT TO DO:
● Visit Webster (7 miles) for all your local necessities like groceries, a library, a
great coffee shop. Head further down the road to Siren (13.5 miles) for a
movie theater, delicious restaurants, quaint shops, and an incredible candy
and ice cream shop.
● Visit the local beach in Siren. Public beach, lake access, and great playground for kids.
● Forts Folle Avoine Historical Park (6.5 miles) -- Visit this over 200-year-old
historic trading post to learn about the local area’s history or ski the trail in
the wintertime.
● Voyager Village (8.5 miles) -- The village is the quintessential recreation
haven. With over 5,000 miles of land, it offers hiking trails, biking, skiing, ATV
riding, and exploring all the nature along the way. There are also 11 lakes for
private boating and fishing as well as an 18-hole golf course.
● Stone Hinge Rock Shop (10 miles) -- A unique place to stop for all your gem,
agate, fossil, and precious mineral needs.
● Lindy’s Berries (25 miles) -- In the mood to pick berries? Visit this family and
locally-owned expansive strawberry farm to fill your bucket with fresh, sweet
berries.
● Explore dozens of other lakes and beaches nearby-you can't go wrong!
Guests will have access to the entire cabin excluding the locked kitchen pantry, garage, and shed. The expansive backyard including the firewood is available for guest use; just please replenish the wood you use with wood from the woodshed on the side facing the garage.

reason, we use a thorough cleaning process after each check-out.
