Why Get a Hotel, When You Can Have a Home Away from Home. This fully furnished 3 bedroom, 2 bath Cape Cod home will give you that lake cottage feel the minute you arrive. Just a quick 5 minute walk to access Willow Grove Private beach. Newly added sunroom (2022), game room, toys, games and books to entertain all ages, even on a rainy day. Shed to store any of your outdoor gear. Extra driveway to park your boat or jet ski and the public boat launch on the Huron river is just minutes away. 8 miles from Cedar Point, 5 miles from Kalahari, and 8 miles from the Sandusky Jet Express. Plenty of shopping, dinning, and local tourist attractions in beautiful downtown Huron, OH as well. House features central air conditioning, heat, and a gas fireplace, but on a gorgeous day you can open the windows and feel the lake breeze. Enjoy stunning Lake Erie sunsets with a drink on the deck or watch the sun rise with a cup of coffee. Kitchen is stocked with everything you could need as well as a charcoal grill (charcoal not provided), just provide the food. Laundry on premise and all linens provided.


Below is a brief description of each room:

Dining Room: Table with 6 chairs and 2 additional folding chairs.

Kitchen: 14 total plates, 14 coffee mugs, 14, bowls, 20 plus drinking cups, plenty of silverware, full set of pots and pans, assortment of glassware baking dishes, 3 cookie sheets, blender, toaster, and much more. Stocked with dishwasher detergent, dish soap and hand soap

Laundry Room: Washer and Dryer (laundry detergent not provided).

Living Room: 2-3 person couch, sitting chair, 42” Smart TV, cable, and DVD player.

Game Room: Dart board, foosball table, and kids air hockey table.

Downstairs Bath: Full bath, stocked with 2 full rolls of toilet paper and hand soap.

Downstairs Bedroom: Queen Bed with Memory Foam Mattress, dresser

Upstairs Loft: Kids play area

Upstairs Bedroom #1: Queen bed with Memory Foam Mattress, dresser

Upstairs Bedroom #2: Full bed with Memory Foam Mattress, twin bed with Memory Foam Mattress, twin trundle bed with Memory Foam Mattress, and window air conditioning unit (there is no air vent in this room for central air)

Upstairs Bath: Full bath, stocked with 2 full rolls of toilet paper and hand soap.

Sunroom: 3-4 person couch, 2 chairs, and plenty of windows to enjoy the lake breeze!

We had plenty of room for all of us and was conveniently located to a lovely beach. We just found that all edibles had to be placed in the fridge, however, the ants swarmed in there and the dish washer. None of the games were complete so bring your own. Remotes had no batteries and DVD player wasn't recognizing any of the movies. The sun room was were we hung out. Great room. Communication with the host was excellent.

This 3 bed, 2 bath house is in a great location. The private beach was great. We didn’t use the house much so it was fine for us. We enjoyed the sunroom in the mornings while we planned our day and the yard was great for playing bags. Downside of this house…it was not the cleanest and the beds were horribly uncomfortable. Beds are personal preference so someone else might sleep just fine on them. The cleanliness was not so bad that I wanted to complain but it could certainly use a good deep clean monthly. The walls in the upstairs bathroom are disgusting. Some spots on the walls downstairs are pretty gross too. I saw a review from June and the owner stated it was deep cleaned after that. There is no way the dust and grime on the walls and trim had collected in 1 month.

The location was wonderful. So close to so many incredible attractions. The house was cozy and the sun room was perfect for spend time with friends. The only downside was that the kitchen was crawling with ants otherwise it was a wonderful stay.

Great Little Getaway!

We had a nice time staying here. Game area was a huge hit with the kids. We were unaware of the 4 night minimum stay; could have been a miss on our part.

The Perfect Vacation

Everything was wonderful, My kids loved the space. Very quiet and clean Neighborhood. The View is to die for, especially if you’re a nature person. Stores were pretty close….!! We enjoyed ourselves.

Cute House, Great Location

This house was perfect for our family. Sunroom for morning coffee and reading, game room for everyone, functional kitchen for home cooked meals, beds were reasonably comfortable, in the heart of it all with access to all of the fun we wanted to have, and access to a private beach as the cherry on top.

Huron Wallete Trip

Great property in a great location. Very comfortable stay with everything we could need. Getting the boat in and out was a little tricky but we managed to get it done and got better at it over the 5 days. A gas grill would put it over the top for us but again, we managed nicely and had a great trip!

Not a long enough vacation!

Property was well kept and a nice location not far from the private beach. Adequate amount of rooms with exceptional kitchen and 2 full baths (women loved soaking in the tubs). Not far from many dining options in Sandusky.

Great location for Cedar Point

We wanted a place close to Cedar Point and this was great, it's about a 10 minute drive to Sandusky and to Cedar Point. The only comment I have is I wish it had better seating options around the main tv. There were 4 adults and 3 teens in our group and we couldn't all sit in the room together.

This house worked well for my husband and I and 4 teenage wrestlers. Plenty of room to hang out and sleep. The stocked kitchen was very convenient and there was lots for kids to do as well.The reason I gave 4 stars and not 5 was that I wish a couple of the bedrooms had tvs. Once video games were in play, my husband and I had nothing to watch while relaxing in the evening.

Good location

Overall we had a nice stay. Loved the location - did lots of biking, checked out local beaches, played at playgrounds, boat launch is very close, fish cleaning station near launch is amazing! Went bowling uptown, higt up Cedar Point a couple times. Some storms rolled through
