Nice quiet getaway

Wonderful experience on one of our favorite lakes to fish. Very happy with our stay and will return soon!

If Im being real, it was a cabin and a place to stay. But some things could be maintained alot better. One - the bath house (women's) shower would not drain, iron build up from water is heavy and smells. Also, maybe just my fear, but theres a small bush that is in front of the bathroom door. I detest spiders so walking thru a bush to use the bathroom is scary for me. The cabin unit..., TV didnt work..checked outlets checked batteries, but still didnt work. Not technically a big issue, but would have been nice if it were in working order. The unit microwave was dirty. Instructions said bring bed linens, and we did....but if you go bring a heavy blanket also. Sleep...didnt sleep worth a crap. The bunks are metal and you can imagine pain in the hips of an not-so old lady. Otherwise, the young man in the office was very nice and welcoming. I enjoy camping, have most of my adult life. I would probably visit the camp ground again if I have an rv or camper, but not the cabins.

We loved the property, right on the water. The host was awesome, gave us all the information we needed for our little vacation. We will be back!

Fishing trip

Cabin was as described very clean and comfortable and host was fantastic would recommend for any who wants more comfort than tent camping.

Perfect lakeside location, area is very isolated and quiet Charcoal grill was a plus for the days catch.

Was nice location, unfortunately fishing dock was closed for repairs, only reason for booking, anywho, store attendant Travis was very helpful nice No TV and no instructions for opening system,poor , overall I think ok

Fishing trip

My dad and I have stayed at this property a couple times now. Always a pleasant stay. We come to fish the upper lake and having a boat ramp on site is a plus. Thank you Alice!

I think there were some things missing. Dust pan, trash can and liners in cabin and a light on the restrooms/showers.

Exactly as described

This rental was super cute! We rented the cabin while attending a sports game at Williams Brice and it's a perfect distance from the stadium. It is a calm area, I don't think there were other cabin renters while we were there and if there were we never felt disrupted or crowded, we were able to have a calm weekend. AC worked great, Tv works, so does the mini fridge. I would be sure to bring your own bed linens as the description says. My husband slept in one of the beds and myself on the couch and we both slept well, no complaints. Would stay here again 100%

Inside the cabin was clean but the area outside was not. The cabin needs a good powerwash . The cabins to the left and right were obviously kept up and prepared for occupants . The outside chairs were filthy and not usable . Both cabins to either side were much cleaner. The campground itself was very nice. Great pier for fishing and a very nice gameroom. The folks in the bait shop were very friendly. We would have enjoyed it more if we were able to sit out on the porch and enjoy the scenery

Host cancelled after check-in time

The cabin had instant confirmation, but I didn't receive any instructions from the host. When I reached out asking for check-in instructions, my reservation was cancelled since the cabin had been rented on some other platform. This happened after the check-in time on the day of the booking. There were no good alternatives available and we had to go to a different state and drive further to salvage our weekend. Very disappointed with the whole situation.
