Lakeside Estates was established in the 1960’s when the founder of Allison Candy Company sold a few Elk river front lots to Huntsville buddies, a number of which were from the original VonBraun NASA Rocket team. Come enjoy our lovely remodeled 4 bedroom 2 bathroom retreat. You can expect a relaxing stay whether you are just relaxing, kayaking, or fishing off of the longest boat dock on the Tennessee River. There are two kitchens and two balconies over looking the river.

Lake vacation

We had a great time got several fish off dock !! House was clean and location on water was great !!!! Thanks for sharing with us

cheap on maintenance

Everything was as advertised. The location is very far from services, which is not a problem as long as everything is maintained and functioning. When I emailed that the sink in the kitchen is clogged with scaly build up and not usable, she made up charges against me to pay for a plumber. Because it is very far out and you have to pay for that. If you are comfortable risking being charged against your security deposit then its is fine. If you don't want a $250 bill for a broken coffee pot I would find another place. The road to the house is at least 2 miles before you get to the main road which is then 5 miles to the nearest gas station. None of the outside spaces have been cleaned or swept. The uncovered deck looked unmaintained and dangerous.

Wonderful lake house

We had a wonderful stay at this home. We had several hiccups in our trip and the host was so great helping us! The house was clean, very nicely decorated. Awesome location on the water. I will say if you are bringing a boat, talk with the owner about bringing it down the drive. It's down a hill with a circle drive in front of the house and pea like gravel. Our big boat on trailer was not easy to get out but we made it happen. There are kayaks to use. 2 big and a youth. They went above and beyond to accommodate us and help when we had issues and were so kind. Highly recommend staying with them!!

Great Getaway

This was a perfect place for a lake trip with family and friends. Very clean and comfortable. The host is very helpful.

Perfect Getaway !

This was just the perfect place for my husband and myself. Cozy and all the kitchen items needed for us to make ourselves right at home. The bed was amazing ! Thanks for everything !
