Beachfront. Sit on the deck and watch your kids play on the beach. See the dolphins swim while the Bald Eagles fish. Walk down the beach to the left there are no houses for two miles. If you want to get away from the crowds and the traffic, this is your dream come true. This is a second home for my wife Allison and me and we know you will love it. The Port St Joe/Mexico beach area is family friendly. It's called the Forgotten Coast. We know you will feel right at home.

Perfect getaway

This house was amazing! Loved the location and the house is very nicely furnished and homey. The back deck was where my family stayed the majority of the time. The sunsets are gorgeous! We will return.

Great place for a family vacation!

The home was a perfect beach location! We were there with adult kids and grandchildren. Lots of room for everyone!

Awesome!

This is the second time that my family and I have stayed here. We absolutely loved everything about our stay(the house the location,the elevator,the ease of communicating with owner,etc). The owner has thought of everything that you may need for your stay and has it readily available. We definately will be staying here again!

Best vacation

We could not have loved our stay in the Allen's' fabulous home more! The location and home were perfect. The trailer with the beach items made packing so much easier! It was voted one of my families top 3 vacations! My tip to future guests is to set up your area in front of house earlier in the morning as the public access is close by and people love to park themselves right in front of the home. We never had any problems though and met some super friendly people.

We can't wait to come back!

It was a wonderful house and just steps from the beach. House was clean and suited our family well. Love the all the things provided, kitchen well stocked, even has beach chairs and towels and a cart to haul it in. Plus they allow pets! The owners were very responsive to any questions. This was a great find and we can't wait to come back.

Great location!

My husband and I spent a week here. House was very clean and had everything we needed. The beach was beautiful, very quiet and perfect for our puppy to play. The sunset was so perfect from the porch we cooked in several nights. The owners communicate everything perfectly so was easy to to know what to expect and what we would need to bring. I would highly recommend staying here. We will definitely be back.

Wonderful Escape

We had a wonderful spring break getaway away from the crowds of other beaches. The location is amazing and we felt like we had our own private beach. The home is equipped with everything you could need and it felt like home while we were there. It was hard to leave and head back to reality. We will definitely visit again.

More than wonderful!

This was our first time staying on the eastern side of Florida. We can’t say enough about our vacation. Location was great, house was great, weather was great. We spent the majority of our time on the beach. Rented kayaks for one day which were delivered right to us. Evenings we spent playing pickleball right up the road at the park. Went shopping at Panama City, Mexico beach, and port st Joe. Had a little trouble with the bathtub and one of the showers but had no trouble getting ahold of the owners.

Beautiful Beach location

Property is very nice. Greg, owner is wonderful to work with and prompt with communications. Kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to prepare meals. Elevator is helpful for unloading/loading bags. My husband has mobility issues, so he was able to come and go easily. This would be a great home for 2 families, due to layout of bedrooms. Loved the upper family room for relaxing in the evenings. Beautiful sunsets from both decks.

Great location!

Our family enjoyed staying right in the edge of port st. Joe and Mexico beach! It was secluded and so nice to just be able to walk the beach all to ourselves! One note would be is the tile fluctuates from eastern to central all day depending on what side of the house you are on. We loved it and will be back!

Great House with Sunset views in Dog Friendly Area

Had a great stay. Sunset views and beach access were our favorite features. House was nice, plenty of bedrooms, tv/relaxing areas on 2nd and 3rd floors and a huge kitchen. We spent every evening on the deck watching the sun set and listening to the waves. The elevator was also very useful for getting luggage to the bedroom, and our older dog loved it because she didn’t have to go up and down steps. Dog friendly beaches drew us to the area and we were happy to have one right out the back door. There were also nice dog friendly beaches in Cape San Blas and St George Island for short day trips. And there were dog friendly patios at restaurants in St Joe and Apalachicola. Highly recommended if you take your pup with you on vacation. Greg kept in contact leading up to our stay to make sure we were good to go upon arrival. While we did not need to contact him during our stay I’m sure he would have responded quickly if anything came up. We enjoyed our time in St Joe, would definitely recommend this beachfront property for a nice getaway by the ocean.

A truly wonderful beach house

This stay was a great experience. The owners did a fantastic job of communicating with us. Their beach house was better than advertised. The property was clean, comfortable, and well stocked. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and look forward to booking again in the future.

Perfect house for a family on the beach

We had an absolutely wonderful time staying at this house! We went to the beach to bring my aunt and her dog on a beach vacation. She did not have to leave her bed to have full view of the beach. There was also an elevator that took her from ground level all the way up to the bedrrom/3rd floor, she would not have been able to get around otherwise and walking to the water's edge was so easy for her. Our son brought friends and they were alll able to stay in the bunk room, had a blast at the beach and it was secluded so they did not bother anyone, and ended every night in the upstairs livingroom which is a perfect teen hangout. The kitchen was well equipped, the house clean and in great condition, the owner was responsive and kind; there were no complaints at all!

My name is Greg and this property is a second home for my wife Allison and me. We live near Perry, GA full time and have kids in school so we don't make it too Florida often as we would like. Allison and I love the beach and we love just setting on the deck and watching the beach and the water. We almost always see dolphins and eagles. There are always fish jumping. We have even seen manatee's a few times. Such a fun relaxing place to visit.

They call our area The Forgotten Coast. If you want something beautiful without the crowds, then this is your place. Just a short stroll down to the beach. Our house is nice for families because it has the living room on the 1st floor where you can gather, but it also has a big room on the 2nd floor where you can hangout, play games, and watch TV. We always see dolphins and in the early morning we often see a Bald Eagle or two. I included a picture of two Bald Eagles on the beach that I took from our deck. Very relaxing. Right on the beach. Beautiful sunsets. An amazing home. You'll love it! I promise.
