Amazing week of making memories in and around Acadia and being nicely situated close to it all but in a quiet corner of the Mt Desert Island area made it a perfect match.

Day in Acadia

Very lovely home in a quite neighborhood. Excellent place to stay for a day in Acadia National forest. Great place for a family. Wish we could have stayed longer.

This was a very lovely home and we enjoyed the comfortable beds, quiet location, hot hot tub, and loved the porch outside. We will be back the next time we visit Acadia. Thanks for a great experience! Also, the kitchen was well equipped to prep our meals!

Immaculate and great attention to detail

Our stay in Bass Harbor was wonderful. The location is perfect and the house is absolutely beautiful. We enjoyed the hot tub in the back patio after a day of hiking in Acadia National Park.

Great house near Bass Harbor

This house is great, and basically brand new. We stayed there as two couples. The beds are super comfy, there’s a well kitted out kitchen, it to mention a grill, fire pit and hot tub!

Immaculate updated home in a beautiful location! Private property just minutes to Bass Light House and Acadia National Park and convenient to restaurants and stores. This home is perfect in every way!

Accessible housing

Great place!

We greatly enjoyed our stay at the house. The location was a little tight quarters with slightly noisy neighbors- music from 9 to 9, and then odd karaoke singing until late hours. Other than that, the place was outstanding….beautiful decor, super clean, and relaxing!

Spacious and comfortable.

The house is clean and plenty of room. Nice outdoor fire pit and the deck with hot tube was fabulous. This is the quiet side of the island and makes a great place to stay away from the crowds in Bar Harbor during the summer.

We really enjoyed our stay at this home. The bedrooms and common area are spacious and clean. The kitchen is well-stocked with all the cooking equipment you'll need. The property manager responded to all questions in a timely manner. The best part of the stay is the beautiful deck with the swing bed and hot tub. The neighborhood is quiet and secluded so sitting out on the deck, whether on the swing or in the hot tub, was a perfect, quiet Maine escape.

Super new and clean. Loved the open floor plan for visiting after our hikes in Acadia. Beds were very comfortable. House did not lack in any necessities. It was about a 35 minute drive to Bar Harbor and Acadia. Not exactly easy to run back to the house if you wanted a mid day break, but we knew the location when we booked and enjoyed the quietness of neighborhood. The host was extremely responsive. Would definitely stay here again.

Immaculate and convenient

Couldn’t find a more convenient location to base exploration of main Acadia attractions and the island villages, everything is 20 minutes away or less. Bass Harbor Light House is beautiful and we walked to it from the house. The home was brand new inside (and beautiful!) and had everything we needed to feel at home. The hot tub was a fun bonus. The host was very responsive and helped us get a pack and play and high chair for our infant. I’m a convert to the quiet side of the island!

Needed King beds!

The listing said there were 2 king beds and only in the detailed description did it say a king and a queen which was a disappointment . The indoor fireplace wasn’t usable either. Otherwise, it was a lovely home with beautiful furnishings and a fantastic outdoor space. We loved the heated floors too!

Great stay, would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-appointed spot to enjoy all that MDI and Acadia have to offer while enjoying the peace of the quiet side of MDI.
