Miner's Bungalow is near a main highway entrance, under 15 minutes away from SLC’s downtown, nightlife, comedy clubs, the temple etc. We are minutes away from Sugarhouse Shopping Center, where you will find MANY different options for places to eat; restaurants and/or fast food, grocery stores like Target and Whole Foods, shopping, liquor store, clothing stores, nail salons, golfing, museums, bars, pubs, parks, trails, the list goes on. We are so close to anything/everything you could need during your stay. If you’re looking to ski /snowboard, it’s under 30 minutes drive away.

A fantastic property for our annual reunion trip. We were 4 ladies, and were impressed with the cleanliness, amenities and most of all the communication. Plenty of space, and everything you could ask for. Many thanks for a great stay!

Easy access for a visit in the Salt Lake City area. Safe and quiet neighborhood. Kitchen fully furnished for preparing meals. Restful environment and beds very comfortable for a good nights rest.

Best communication ever with the owners of the rentals I have made in the past.These two are on top of their game.Everything was so smooth, beginning to end.Can't say enough about the cleanliness of the home, we were very pleased.I was shocked how the items in the kitchen drawers were perfectly aligned!Also, the neighborhood felt perfectly safe.We walked to a lovely restaurant Violet, 3 blocks away.Highly recommend this property!

Wonderful place to stay in a great area of SLC!! Everything was great. They did an outstanding remodel job. Well stocked, better than most other rentals. Super clean and very comfortable. Great communication. Would definitely stay here again.

The layout is awesome and beds so comfy. Emily , I felt she went above and beyond in making sure we would have everything we would want and need. She even put up a Christmas Tree. Thank you Emily!

Extremely clean, updated place, excellent amenities, central location, beautiful neighborhood. The owners go above and beyond to make your stay awesome. Very responsive to questions and help when needed. Would love to stay again. Cannot rave more about everything and this stay. Emily was absolutely wonderful!!

Everything and More!

We were impressed with the beds and the fluffy bath sheets. The house was appointed week everything we could need and then some. Emily went out of her way to make sure our stay was comfortable.

Great family house and location for skiing was perfect

The miner's bungalow was very comfortable, clean and spacious for our family of four (two teen kids). We chose this place so we could ski big and little cottonwood canyons and the location made it very easy to get to the ski hill in the morning. The neighborhood is really nice and close to amenities. Tay was really helpful in answering any questions and made our renting experience easy. Thanks!!

Best place in Salt Lake City

Every year we meet up in Salt Lake City for our annual Thanksgiving and we have finally found our home away from home! The house was very clean and well stocked. There were thoughtful details to make your stay easy -- spices, oils, and a range of kitchen tools to make a feast. The beds were comfortable and living room was perfect for late night chats and movies. Best of all was Emily who made our stay so warm. She was communicative and made sure we were taken care of -- an incredibly thoughtful host.

6 Mountains in 6 days

We had an incredible stay at the Miners bungalow! The hosts truly thought of everything to make our experience comfortable and stress-free. From early communication making checkin seamless to a fully stocked bathroom with all the essentials! The recent renovations really show in all the carefully considered details. The home was impeccably clean, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and the kitchen was fully equipped for all our needs. Communication with the host was seamless and helpful throughout our stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will definitely be back! P.S. The location enabled us to Ski Alta, Snowbird, Brighton, Solitude, Snowbasin and Deer Valley in 6 days. The commute to each mountain could not have been faster!

Taylor and Emily’s house was fantastic! It’s in a great location and great neighborhood, with all the space and amenities we needed. Communication was quick and responsive and the vibe was chill. Loved the front porch and massage chair. Our son lives nearby in Millcreek, so we’ll definitely consider returning for future trips!

Emily was an amazing host throughout the entire process. The house is much larger than in the pictures, and the space was perfect for a family of five, with three children ages 7, 4 and 3. The basement was a great space for the kids to play, as there were no small child hazards, just an open space. The amenities, such as shampoo, body wash, and face wipes, were excellent, and she went the extra mile by putting out popcorn and snacks for the kids when we got there.You can walk to Sugar House Park within about 15 minutes, and it is about a seven-minute drive to Liberty Park. The neighborhood is very residential and relaxing, with tree-lined streets. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. The house was absolutely amazing.Emily was so responsive to our questions, and she truly made the experience very welcoming. 10/10!

Hi! I'm Taylor and I'm the owner of Miner's Bungalow. I grew up in Salt Lake City, near the mouth of Little Cottonwood Canyon. I'm passionate about family, friends, food, views, outdoor sporting, and the Utah Jazz! I graduated from the University of Utah years ago and now own and operate a small renewable energy company. I'm happy to be sharing our family home with you and I'll make sure to take good care so you can have an easy-going, and hopefully fun, stay in Salt Lake City. Hi there, first, thank you for looking at our home as a potential suitor for your travels. We enjoy hosting folks from all over. My name's Taylor and I'm proud to be the host of Miner's Bungalow. I grew up clipping the grass for my Grandma and ended up purchasing the home from our family a few years ago. Renovating isn't my career, but my friends and I enjoyed sprucing up Miner's Bungalow. What started as paint and carpet, turned into a full renovation. It was tempting to move in and make Miner's my primary home, but I always had guests in mind, and decided to stick with sharing our place with visitors. It's been a lot of fun so far and our guests have taken great care of our home. We're glad to have you stay. Most commonly, our guests compliment the location and quaint neighborhood, new and custom finish work throughout, comfortable beds / pillows, and well-stocked kitchen. Overall, it seems our guests feel "at home" at Miner's Bungalow.

Our place is close to everything. Minutes to just about anywhere in the Salt Lake Valley, as well as Park City and the SL Int'l Airport, and ALL OF THE SKIING nearby. There's a great food scene in Sugarhouse and we're only a few minutes to downtown. Sometimes just looking at the Wasatch Front, Rocky Mountains is sufficient, but for those who want to get up there to hike, run, bike, ski, or snowboard; then Miner's is an ideal fit for you, too. We're sandwiched in the sweet spot between urban amenities and elevation gain recreation.

4 seasons UT; Winter’s snow totals and quality are top tier in the world. You can’t beat the snow and the wide range of terrain for skiing, hiking, and biking. Spring is beautiful with blossoming trees, sun and new life. Summer is hot mid day and cool in the evenings, being a desert climate. Fall leaves changing is a sight to see. Try guardsman pass in the fall and you’ll see what I mean!

Our neighborhood; easy highway access without being near enough to hear cars passing through. We’re on a quiet street with little to no traffic. Close to grocery stores and locally owned restaurants. Our neighbors landscaping puts even my best efforts to shame. Lunch and dinner at our outdoor dining table on the front covered patio are a lovely, chill vibe. Highland Park is a 100+ year old suburban development with a cool mix of unique home styles. The city offers to plant trees for homeowners for free in our park strips; most of the homes have taken advantage of this long ago, making our streets a mature tree lined tunnel.
