Small One bedroom vacation rental apt (about 480 sq ft) designed for two! Up one flight of stairs, this upper level apartment is situated behind the owner's house above the garage and has everything you need for a perfect beach get away. WE have added new hard-wood floors and air conditioning for your comfort! It is a 5 minute walk to the beach, and a 2 minute walk to famous 2nd street with it's boutiques and Cafes.
The Red bus will take you downtown in minutes, to the Pike, The Queen Mary, and the Aquarium of the Pacific. Once downtown you can take the metro link to Los Angeles, Hollywood, and Beverly Hills. You can also take the ferry to Catalina Island. If you have a car famous Surf City or Huntington Beach is a 10 minute drive, and Laguna Beach and Disneyland about 30 minutes drive. Just minutes away one can do kite-surfing, rent canoes, kayaks and sailboats. 3rd person $10 extra per night. $65 final cleaning in cash to be given for the maid. Standard rental contract to be signed. No Shoes, no pets - allergy free zone apt

The flat was very comfortable, clean, with all amenities. Close to the beach, only 9 minutes on foot. Nice neighbourhood, with many options to eat. Easy access to different areas of LA. The host Carol was very approachable and informative. Traian was very friendly and helpful. We felt welcomed and we really relaxed during our stay.

I have used VRBO and frequented the Long Beach area for the past 5-10 years. Each experience has been different and throughly enjoying. Just a great place to visit. The weather is always perfect. Central location to just about anywhere from San Diego south to Santa Barbara north. The hosts were great and very friendly. Never had to walk far for anything I needed. Great community with many working parts.

Cozy clean apartment in an excellent location, short walk to restaurants. Carol and Traian, are great hosts, quick response to any questions. I would stay here again and definitely recommend.

Carol is friendly and nice. So he her husband who ofter to carry my and my daughter luggage up the stairs. She could of had the fans on in the rooms to have air circulating so it wouldn't be stuffy. But other than that the place is very nice.

The place is smaller than expected. The kitchen is small and really suitable only for making a simple breakfast. The electrical outlet arrangement is a bit scary with many expansion plugs. I recommend using only one appliance at a time. The seal for the refrigerator door was torn and appeared to have mold in it. Would recommend replacing the door seal. The place is fine for a place to rest and sleep. The shower was fine. The sink is very small. The place is one block from 2nd street so it is very convenient to many nice Restaurents. The place is also very quiet.

Fun, California vibe small apartment near the ocean and trendy part of Long Beach. Hosts were helpful and the neighborhood charming. You can walk to multiple restaurants and the beach. It's a busy area, which makes for it being somewhat noisy at night, but nothing problematic. Highly recommend!

Enjoyed the stay. Host was very nice. Bed was a little hard and there was limited to no shower soap or shampoo provided.

Our host was great. They were concern with our comfort as well as our safety. And the location….Prefect!

Carol was an amazing host. Apartment was exactly as it said it was. Close to shops, eating, and within walking distance to the ocean. Nice safe neighborhood. Would definitely recommend.

The property was comfortable, and the location was excellent. We liked how close it was to 2nd Street and did not have any trouble finding parking on the street.

I think that you misunderstand. VRBO rents individual units - houses and apts that are not shared with others. Our apartment is a separate unit with its own entrance - completely private from the main house out front where we live.

Wonderful people and place
This is a beautiful beachy property. My daughter and I felt right at home and the owners are both very kind and helpful. We would definitely stay here again !!

We bought the house because it is very convenient to be able to walk to shops and restaurants and to walk to the beach. We think that Belmont Shore is a fun place to be and there is always lots of activities going on. Being able to walk to the beach and not drive, is a real plus! Also it is not far to go to LA, Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Huntington Beach, Laguna Beach, and Disneyland!

The unique benefits of this rental are that you may walk in minutes to the beach, and to shops and restaurants. There are lots of activities in the area, and yet the apt itself is quite quiet and peaceful. Since we live on the property in the main house, we are around to help or give information on the area to our visitors!
