Great place to stay for a few days in Longbeach, everything as described in the listing. Easy instructions for check-in, very communicative. Loved the dedicated parking space, as it gets very crowded there on the weekend.

It was great! Great spot near the water and the place had everything we needed. We would stay again in a heartbeat. Loved that they had everything you needed for the beach down in the garage.

The property was clean and exactly as pictured. Location couldn’t be better with beach, peninsula, and great restaurants within walking distance. Would come back again!

Alamitos Bay Retreat

It was great to stay at this location! The house was cozy and had everything we needed. The communication with the management company was very smoothly. The neighborhood is super-nice and chill. Definitely recommend it!

Peaceful beach retreat

Loved our stay away from the chaos of L.A. A gem in a quiet neighborhood on the beach. Worked very well for us. Central location to hit the theme parks, Little Tokyo, Griffiths Observatory, and the beach. Only a short drive south to enjoy the waves, as the beach was waveless within walking distance.

Floor was filty…feet black after walking on them after a shower. No pans to cook with for eggs, grilled cheese etc. Parking situation was misrepresented as we did not have a spot behind the property at all times…just if it happened to. E available and street parking is a bit difficult. Towels looked dingy.

I have written mire than 200 reviews on Trip Advisor, Google and Yelp and I do not like to give poor reviews. In this case, I first sent a message to what appeared to be the owners’ email address but inly received an acknowledgement that my message would be forwarded to them. Subsequently, I was contacted by the management company and I responded with a detailed listing of the complaints my wife and I had. In my opinion, I received only ‘lip service’ from that entity which has made me feel compelled to post this review.When I was making our reservations, I read the few reviews that had been written. Most extolled the virtues of the property while two commented that the property was not clean. As there are always those who are disgruntled, I relied on the majority. But, after arriving, we determined that the two were the only honest reviews. First, my wife and I are 78 and we were arriving from Italy for an extended stay in California and, thus, had several pieces of luggage. We were very dismayed to find that the condo which appears to be at street level in the photos is actually at the top of a flight of 18 stairs. I could present a lengthy list about how dirty the interior was and how lacking the kitchen was in cooking pots, pans and utensils. Suffice it to say that my wife felt compelled to wash and dry the bed linens before remaking the bed so that we could sleep. As a final affirmation of our dismay, we spent 1,500 to leave early and go to a hotel.

It was a nice secluded place. There was no laundry soap and toilet paper was low as well. Things needed to be stocked up better than they were.
