Guest Access:
The apartment has a smart lock keypad for self check-in with a unique access code that last only the duration of guests' stays for safety and peace of mind.

All access codes are sent 15 minutes before your scheduled arrival time.

The Neighborhood:
Butchertown is a historic neighborhood from the early 1800s that today hosts a vibrant and eclectic culture with a mix of historic and modern architecture, as well as a thriving arts and food scene. Butchertown is home to a variety of restaurants, bars, and shops, and is known for its historic homes and buildings, as well as its stunning views of the Ohio River.

NuLu, or "New Louisville", is known for its trendy shops, art galleries, and local boutiques, as well as its growing food scene. NuLu is a destination for local and out-of-town visitors, who come to explore the neighborhood's unique shopping and dining options, as well as its vibrant arts and culture scene. Whether you're looking to browse local boutiques, sample the latest cuisine, or attend a festival or event, NuLu has something for everyone.

Getting Around:
We're located at 1025 E Main St, right in the middle of Butchertown and NuLu.

There are 3 private parking spaces behind the house on the gravel pad -- please do not park elsewhere off the alley, they are private properties and your car might be towed.

Additional free parking is in the front of the house on E Main St. It technically has a 2-hour limit, but we've never had issues with tickets for extended periods except on large event weekends.

Other Things to Note:
Want to start your trip early or sleep in on your last morning? We’re happy to accommodate an early check-in or late checkout if arranged in advance! Our standard check-in time is 4:00pm, and our checkout time is 10:00am – we charge 10% of the nightly rate per hour (with a minimum of $20/hour) to adjust our cleaners’ schedules and arrange this service.

Long weekend with friends

The property was great for 4 adult men. Plenty of space and privacy with bathroom capacity. Very comfortable and well appointed. Location is close to downtown attractions, but also has some interesting bars, restaurants and shops in the immediate vicinity. Very satisfied with everything.

Bourbon Trail Vacation Getaway

Great place. Great location. Easy to book. Host answered every question quickly and accurate. Only pitfall was the heating in the unit struggled to keep up with cold weekend weather. Highly recommend place!

Great Location for Weekend Exploring Louisville and the Bourbon Trail

Clean property and plenty of space for 4 couples getaway weekend. This was our first time exploring some Bourbon Trail distilleries and this location was a great. Key highlights…off street parking, walkable to many restaurants, and good communication with property owner.

Great space

This was a great property. Property owner communicated frequently to make sure I was able to check in without any issue. House is clean, spacious, and just as you expect it would be from the pictures. The location is incredible. I had no clue how close it was to everything until I was here and could walk to anything needed. Highly recommend.

Convenient, Modern yet Homey!

I rented Matt’s house for my husband and his buddies for the weekend. They had a great time. They loved the house felt as if it were designed for personal use. They felt right at home. They walked to a lot of places and it was quite convenient. Matt was extremely responsive and considerate. They let them do early check in as well as leave their luggage until next guests arrived for convenience. More than most owners have allowed in the past. Thank you Matt for everything! I would definitely rent this property again without hesitation.

We were very satisfied with the home.

The floor plan with the upstairs bed rooms/kitchenette provided a “kids’ zone” for our 3 grandchildren! The home was clean and in very good condition. We enjoyed our stay very much. Thank you.
