Our stay was good. We went deep sea fishing and it was great fishing and the weather was nice. Went fishing on the kayaks in the morning and bar-b-que fish for dinner. Got in the pool in the afternoon and fished again in the evening. Thank you.

The property was so beautiful and spacious and very clean. We had an amazing time, we loved that the pool and deck were right in the backyard it kept everyone entertained and host was very helpful and responded very quick. Will definitely stay again and recommend to my friends and family.

Great Stay Overall!

Doorlock is a little tricky. Have to pick the right combination of numbers and there are multiple options so it takes a few tries. Can be a bit frustrating. Owner/Reps were somewhat prompt on check-in and getting a new code when we had an issue. Otherwise house is geourgous. Pool is great. Fishing was fantastic. Oyster reefs cost me some tackle but in the end we caught monsters off the dock and it was worth it!

Annual Family Beach Trip

We had a great time although we didn’t get to go to the beach because of weather conditions The house is very roomy so we played games and enjoyed being together . This was our second time staying here and would love to return again The adults loved fishing and the children love the pool We love the location and what the house offers

Family Summer Vacay

We've rented this home 4 or 5 times now, and it’s perfect for our family who loves to swim and fish. The layout & amenties is ideal and the heated pool allows us to enjoy evening swims. We love having the kitchen on the first floor for easy access. We booked this home twice this summer and can't wait to return next month in July.

Incredible stay!

Great property with breathtaking views. Host was very responsive and made sure our stay was exceptional. The home had all the necessities as well as supplies for the amenities offered. Fishing was fun and the heated pool makes this home a perfect stay year round. My family and I enjoyed our stay and definitely will be returning. 10/10 recommend!

Vacation Getaway

Overall condition of property was great. Would be a little better had there been a rail handle to get in and out of pool communication could have been better, had to contact VRBO several times before host responded to questions. Would book house again.

Great experience

The home was clean and had everything we needed. Upon arrival, we had some trouble with the keypad to access the home. The host was very quick to respond and it was no issue at all! Would highly recommend this property for your next vacation!

Birthday getaway

The place was beautiful,,but we did have issues with the code lock on the door had to leave it open the entire stay,,and we also had to clean it ourselves the first day as there was pet hair all over the floor and the furniture but oher than that the view was nice definitely enjoyed the pool with the view wouldn't mind returning.

Will be returning

Very clean and lovely home. We really enjoyed the fishing from the private dock all day long. Pool looked really nice but unfortunately it was cold during our time there. We will be returning again in the warmer months.

Family beach vacation

We loved our stay. The house was very spacious and accommodating to our needs. The pool was wonderful and the children loved it and after they were tired and asleep the adults enjoyed fishing from the backyard deck We also liked the location It was not far from supermarket or the beach We definitely would consider retuning in the future

Weekend Relaxation

This home did not disappoint, we felt at home away from home, but only better. You want to go fishing, you got it. Maybe you’re in the mood to grill up some bbq while having a cold drink, watching the sunset over the ocean; no problem! Perhaps the sun has you drained and you wish you could take a refreshing dip in the pool, this place has you covered. Very clean, relaxing and super comfortable, we will definitely be back; 5 stars and fish emoji for sure!

Such an amazing stay

The owners are amazing people. From the start, they were able to check in with us before we arrived. Once we got there they assisted us with great fishing spots and ideas for us and the kids, we were welcome to use fish bait, pool toys, and were welcome to anything we needed in the house. The house was amazing! The pool was very enjoyable especially the heated part when the cold night came. The kids absolutely loved the fishing and we got several fish while there. The owners checked in on us to make sure everything was okay or if we needed anything. The beds are great and the house is very spacious. Any times we come to Rockport, this will definitely be our place to stay....

Rules were not clear

We arrived at the house and it was not cleaned. There were stains on the sheets of unmade beds. Some of the beds didn’t even have sheets on them and the sheets were no where to be found. There was not enough supplies so we had to go out to get stuff like toilet paper and trash bags. Don’t touch the pool floaties unless you want to pay for them which we were not informed of until the last day so we had to pay for it. And the kayaks had holes in them so one our people got stranded out there. The ladder into the bay also cut everyone’s feet terribly. And it states when to pool cleaners were supposed to come and they never came so the pool was cloudy and gross.

Horrible Experience

When we first got there, we noticed the house was very warm, this was when the temperatures were over 101 degrees. the ac was not working upstairs at all. We called the management place and then we got a call from the owner of the home, stating that he could not get anyone to call out that night nor the entire weekened. They did not offer to get us fans, it was horrible. So no AC, lights in the living room flickered off and on they said wait 5 minutes and they will stop. The fan in living room was not working. Pool was dirty. We complained to the owner and he said he was going to give us a cut on the fee for another weekend so we thought that was great. Well he has agnored our calls, says he will email and still as of this date he has done neither. We do not recommend this home at ALL!!!!!!!!!!! HORRIBLE!!!!!!

Interesting

As with anything in life, we know to make the best of what we have, which was exactly our approach at this listing. Great scenery, good area, decent fishing off the dock, most accommodations... HOWEVER, come prepared! There were K-cups but no Keurig. Twas very warm and owners prefer you not take the temp down past 72/73 which is uncomfortable at night. Not one solitary cleaning product like extra trash bags so that we could refill can and truly tidy up after a spill etc ... Beds weren't the worst but need to be replaced or softened with a little better comforters/blankets. Master bedroom downstairs mattress will fold you like a taco. Zero communication availability from the owners etc ... The smell was of a burning old vanilla odor. In fact it was so overwhelming... I looked for plug ins and candles to put them away so we didn't all have a head aches. Pool was clean and appeared to be working but wasn't at all warm for our arrival so it was of no use to us in mid November. For 1 night with taxes it was 550$ that's a lot of cash. We could stay again... but as mentioned, we will COME PREPARED. Side note: before leaving a rental property allllllllways take photos of how you left it so there's no questions asked as to the state/condition of the home last you were inside it. Best of Luck!
