Parking in the garage was practically impossible. The unit was clean and convenient. It was very crowded and not much outdoor space.

While it is narrow, we do list the dimensions and note the details on our listing for full transparency ahead of time. Great beach retreat for the whole family!

This charming beach rental is well stocked both inside and with beach gear. It was the perfect choice for our family vacation.

Stay overall was great. The home was clean and listing pictures were accurate. Walk to the bay was short and so easy with kids. Parking is a pain but overall our stay was great.

San Diego stay

We really enjoyed our stay. Our hosts were very communicative, friendly and helpful with all of our requests. The place was quiet, very clean and comfortable--in addition to being walkable to the beach and many restaurants. We will definitely be back!

Excellent vacation rental for my family.

We loved our stay in Balboa 816, it was perfect for my family. It was very clean and had everything we needed to make our Easter meal. Location is great and our favorite place was the sunny patio. Drift was easy to work with and was quick to answer our questions. We will be back next year.

Fall break vacation

Great location. Easy to get to all major areas. Parking is tough, and in flight path. But otherwise no complaints and would stay here again.

Excellent property, excellent location

This was an excellent property, easy owners to work with. Easy access to the beaches on the bay and on the ocean. I admit, from the listing, I thought we would be right on the beach. We were about 100 yards and several units off the beach. But it was still an excellent location.

Fabulous Getaway

Fun had by all - great location, convenient to everything. Ages 2 - 70 enjoyed. House is well appointed with comfortable amenities. Would not hesitate to return

Great trip. loved the place. host was responsive. if you have a car larger than a compact plan on walking to overnight parking but you walk past restaurants and market so made it convenient.

Great atmosphere

Nice place—renovated recently. Only negative was garage not big enough for our midsize suv. Parking on july4 weekend not easy. Patio was nice after a long day. House amenities were very thoughtful

Great place to stay with family

My family and I spent 4 days in this rental over fall break. We had a great time. The kitchen was fully stocked with cookware, so we were able to make all of our meals. It's very spacious, so there was plenty of room for all 5 of us to be comfortable. It was easy to get to ocean side of Mission to enjoy the beach, but located on the bay side, so a bit quieter. I would definitely recommend for families.

This was a turn-key vacation rental, and steps from the Bay, we did not interact with the host, but the communication from the management company was super Clear! Also, the Garage would not fit our SUV so bring a smaller car. Would love to rent again, should we be in the area

Cutest neighborhood near the beach!

Enjoyed a weekend here with girlfriends! The beds were comfy and we loved having three bathrooms. The neighborhood is so cute and an easy walk to the beach and bay. Property managers were super responsive when we reached out with questions. We couldn't get the fire pit to work which was a bummer.

Great location

Unit is in a great location, but outside fire pit did not work, spray hose had numerous large leaks, light switches in bedrooms did not work, tv in master did not work, WiFi was hit or miss

We're pleased to inform you that all the issues you mentioned have been thoroughly addressed and resolved. The problems with the fire pit and TV seemed to be user error as both worked upon inspection. Additionally, the large leaks in the spray hose have been fixed, and the light switches in the bedrooms have been repaired to ensure they are functioning as intended. We understand the importance of having reliable WiFi, and we've taken steps to improve its stability so that it is no longer hit or miss. We hope that despite the initial setbacks, you could still enjoy our property's great location.

Balboa Escape

We loved our Drift Mission Beach accomodation. Fully equipped, great location and totally updated decor. They thought of everything! Only downside was the 2nd bedroom bed & mattress. Bed too small & mattress not very comfortable. Otherwise an excellent vacation property and would highly recommend.
