Overnight family getaway

Nicely decorated, clean and had the amenities we desired. It’s a really “neat” little house with a lot of history and character. Would definitely stay here again! The family enjoyed it!

Peaceful, quiet and relaxing

We enjoyed our stay at Gwen’s Nest. We enjoyed sitting on the upstairs deck listening to the birds. Todd was very responsive during our stay.

Absolutely perfect!

We had a great stay. I would absolutely go back. It's so charming and the setting is beautiful. The house has everything you need. It was a lovely, relaxing stay.

Restful getaway

This place was by far the cleanest I’ve been in. Perfect country getaway. Everything you could need not to far of a drive from there.

Beautiful location and very quiet. We love the decor and the atmosphere inside and out. Very comfortable beds, pretty bathrooms, lots of amenities, games, puzzles, books to read, streaming tv, well-stocked kitchen with appliances and utensils, thank you for the coffee! We love watching the birds in the forest from the porch and listening to them sing. Easy access and short drive to nearby Siloam Springs. Thank you for a great stay.

Adorable and immaculate farmhouse cottage

Immaculately clean. Charming decor and Well appointed. The beds were comfortable with nice linens and towels. Lots of condiments, spices, & snacks. The hosts were very friendly and helpful.

Nice place for a weekend away

Had a great visit, although it was short, but would definitely come back again! The house, even though it was older, was updated with many nice features. The only downside was the weather was colder , so we didn't get to enjoy the awesome porch/balcony!

Wonderful cottage in the woods.

We were in the area for a family reunion. This was a great location for us and such a lovely cottage to stay in. This was the best supplied VRBO that I've stayed in and Todd was great at communication before and after our trip. Loved sitting on the porches and listening to all the birds. Would definitely consider this rental in the future.

Lovely quiet cottage

Very clean cottage nestled in the woods. Kitchen has just about everything you need for meal prep and eating in. Hubby did some mountain-biking and was willing to make the additional drive to the trails. Perfect little getaway!

Very Relaxing

Gwen's Nest is a charming little cottage nestled in the woods, off the beaten path, which is exactly what we were looking for. While we loved the seclusion Gwen's nest offered, we were only 10 minutes away from Siloam Springs, it is absolutely the perfect combination for a weekend away, or a week long stay. I am so grateful to have found it, we will definitely book again in the future.

Awesome house in the "country"

Gwen's Nest is exactly what we were looking for! This place is a bit out of town and makes it feel like you are in the country. Quick drive to town. The place was so quaint and comfy. We just loved it! Place was supplied with anything we might need. Everything was exactly as described. Would totally recommend!

We loved our time at Gwen’s nest. It feels like you are in a treehouse. I loved that it had so many windows letting in the light. The views of the trees were so calming. The screened in deck was wonderful. We enjoyed sitting in the hanging canvas chairs on the deck. The living room was so comfortable and cozy. Todd was very helpful when we needed something. It was a wonderful experience.

Perfect Little Nest for Renewal

I will definitely be back. This home is filled with love, character and a perfect getaway from the daily grind tucked away in the woods. Two screened in porches overlooking tall trees and listening to nature while showering was so Theraputic. I was blown away with all the amenities and the host was one of the best. Thank you it was such a blessing in so many ways.

Relaxing

We enjoyed our stay. Although we had snow, we were not snowed in. It was a much needed visit with my son and his girlfriend. We went to Walmart for groceries and cooked ourselves. It was a full kitchen. We relaxed in the tub, took naps and binge watched Season 8 GOTs. I highly recommend this place!

Step Back into A Quiter Tome

What a delightful cottage. Quiet except fir the birds. Read the history of the location,it enhances your perspective The cottage met or exceeded all expectations. Kitchen equipped, for meals. Furniture comfortable. Host readily available. Don't hesitant if you want to experience a delightfuly decorated peaceful cottage.

Quick Weekend Retreat

My husband and I stayed at Gwen's Nest for two nights on a weekend. Todd was highly communicative and very accommodating to our needs, including a late night arrival. We felt very well-cared for.The location was unique. Situated on what seemed a country inlet road, the cottage is tucked into the hill. You really do feel like you're in a nest, particularly with the birdsong during the day! Wished we'd been able to come a few weeks later, as the trees were beginning to fill out and bushes were budding. My favorite part of the home was the claw foot tub. As a family, we get little downtime. What a nice, relaxing way to enjoy the time away. We highly recommend Gwen's Nest to anyone looking for a cabin in nature that isn't pretentious but also has a lot of modern amenities.
