Cape Charles is a wonderful place to visit. Great for a family. Loved the beach and historic area. This home, Belle, is in that area of cute and historic homes. ItWas lots of fun for my grandchildren toRide in a golf cart to the beach and also toSee the homes. This home was just as described and suited us well. It was convenient to everything. September is an outstanding time to visit Cape Charles We had wonderful weather and not many tourists!

Our family had a great, comfortable stay at this property. It’s about a 12 minute walk to the beach, and very close to one of the local bakeries and the pharmacy/diner. The house has pretty much everything you’d need during a brief stay. One privacy thing: the doors don’t have locks. However, the host promptly and kindly provided door stoppers. We’d definitely stay here again!

Great place to stay!

The house was awesome! Perfect for the 3 couples and 3 toddlers. Walking distance to the restaurants, shops and beach. Definitely will be booking again in the future!

Spacious home close to shops. Multiple living spaces and huge kitchen are a big plus. Parking for two cars right in front of the home was easy and convenient. Excellent and quick communication with host. Would love to stay here on our next trip!

We had the best time in Cape Charles and at the Belle! We would stay here again in a heartbeat! The host was so quick to respond to my messages and was able to reschedule my trip with ease!

Our favorite so far

We stay in Cape Charles about twice a year and this has been our favorite place so far, we will definitely boon again for next year. The beautiful backyard and extra living space were our favorite part

Perfection!

Such an adorable house with a great location! Safe and friendly this house has all you need with the 1800's charm to go with it. Comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen. Walk to shops or golf cart to the beach. Lily was SO responsive and helpful with anything we needed!

Great week in Cape Charles!

We had a great time in Cape Charles. The house was clean, well stocked kitchen and the beds were comfortable. The boys loved the back yard aka "the pitch" for nightly soccer games. Thanks Lilly for being so responsive to any questions we had!

Family getaway

Belle of the Bay was an amazing property. The home was extremely clean The beds were comfy, plenty of space and well equipped kitchen. The beach chairs were so convenient. We enjoyed porch sitting, preparing meals in the spacious kitchen and dinners in the back yard. Lilly was prompt with responding to questions.

Great family home!

This was a great home for us. We had four generations and the layout was perfect. It even has a bedroom on the first floor. The beds were comfy and plenty of towels. Lily is a great host and responds almost immediately. Not close to the water but close to the park and all the shops.

Cute bay house!

We really enjoyed our stay at Belle of the bay! The only thing we had any problem with was parking. We had several times where people parked in front of our house and left us without parking. We had 9 people and there was plenty of room for everyone! We would definitely recommend this place!

Cape Charles is a great family oriented getaway! This property was great as well. The owner was very responsive. The house was super clean. We had no parking issues (as others have commented on) as we golf carted our entire stay. The only negative was the blinds in the bedrooms do not keep the outside lights out. We’ve stayed at numerous properties in Cape Charles and this one ranks near the top. Just know going in that these are historic homes.
