This is a great house. Very family friendly, and a great location (near the beach, park, and Mason Ave.). This was our second time at this house, and we have had a great experience both times!

We had such a great stay at the Sandlot House. It was the perfect peaceful getaway for us and we are so glad to have found it. The property itself has a wonderful and authentic feel to it and it includes all of the modern upgrades you actually need to be comfortable. It truly had all of the comforts of home. The beds were very comfortable, everything was exceptionally clean and cozy and you can tell a lot of care goes into maintaining the space. One of the biggest highlights for us was how dog friendly it is. The location is also fantastic and convenient. You can easily walk to the park, shops and beach.We highly recommend it and would definitely stay here again.

Great stay! The property is in a charming house just blocks from the beach! The house was very clean and suited our needs as a family with young children. There were many great unexpected details such as children’s toys and puzzles, books, games, a photo album with a history of Cape Charles, a book with a history of the house. The golf cart was a blast! Wish we could’ve stayed longer. Scott was very responsive to messages with a seamless check in and check out experience. Hope to return! Thank you!

We loved staying at The Sandlot House! The property was beautiful and the location was ideal - close to downtown as well as to the beach. It was awesome having access to a golf cart, paddle boards, and tons of beach gear. Scott was, by far, the funniest and most responsive owner we’ve ever encountered. Cheers to another wonderful week in Cape Charles! :)

We had kids, grandparents & dogs and this was the perfect house for all of us! It was an easy walk to the beach or the playground/pickleball park. We enjoyed the golf cart and bikes provided as well. We all loved our stay at The SandLot House.

The house was beautiful and extremely comfortable. The downstairs bathroom was gorgeous- fully renovated. The kitchen was beautiful as well. There were a few dirty dishes in the cabinet, which was surprising but easy to take care of. The one issue was the bugs outside on the front and back porch as well as the outdoor shower. The mosquitoes were so bad that we were not able to enjoy those amenities. Overall though, it was a wonderful experience. I would recommend and would consider staying again.

Great property in a beautiful town. The house was very clean and was great to stay in. The location was great and was just a short walk to the beach and the shops. We had a great time there and are already talking about another trip back! The checkin and checkout were super easy and the owners were great!

Our stay here at The Sandlot House was absolutely perfect for our family of 7 adults and 3 young children. The house was spotless from top to bottom, which made us feel so comfortable as soon as we arrived.our host Scott was great- communication was clear, prompt and so helpful.Everything we needed was provided. The golf cart made our trips to the beach so easy! We could not have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend the The Sandlot House.

The house was pet friendly and in a great location, not far from shops, restaurants, and the beach! We all loved keeping warm by the fire pit in the evenings. The kitchen was well stocked so it was easy to prepare meals while there. Everyone had a great time!

Lovely property for a group! Close enough to walk to the beach, park and shops/restaurants. The golf cart made everything extra easy as well! Also it is an excellent property for kids (mine are 2 and 5).

We absolutely loved The Sandlot House. Our best stay in CC yet! We’ve always rented a golf cart but having one at the house already was such a luxury. Loved the location between the beach and park - the kids have a lot of freedom and independence being able to wander around safely on their own. Had a great night sitting out by the fire pit. Thank you so much for sharing your family haven!! We will be back!

The Sandlot House is in an ideal location near the beach and the historic shopping district. The neighborhood is safe and comfortable. The house worked well for our Friendsgiving group of four adults and one child. The kitchen and bathrooms are nicely renovated and the house was very clean.

Great stay at Sandlot!

We loved our visit to Cape Charles, and the Sandlot was the perfect place to stay. Clean, well decorated, stocked with everything we needed (and more!), and a great location. Hope to be back soon!
