The views were absolutely gorgeous, especially at sunset time. He arrangement of rooms and the family area was perfect for the folks that we had staying with us. We would definitely stay again.

We enjoy traveling with our dog and this property was perfect for that. The views and sunsets were amazing from the deck. The house was beautiful, hope to come back again.

Loved the deck with beautiful views. Could use a little updating but all in all great stay. I would stay again.

Excellent house overlooking the Chesapeake Bay! There was plenty of room for everyone. We enjoyed many walks along the beach with our dog.

Family Vacay

Great view, ultra-clean facilities, plenty of space; pool access for kids, well-designed kitchen for preparing family meals. We already want to plan our return visit.

Host was great. View great. Rooms clean and beds comfortable. Negatives has to do with lawn service doesn’t clean outdoor shower area, Could use some hanging hooks in bathrooms for towels and dock kits. TV in family room is tough to watch from couch as it is too big. 70 inches. Like sitting in front row of IMAX theater. Lack of knives in silverware drawer. Umbrella on deck needs repair but once fixed good shade. Nice beach chairs and umbrella selection. Power cord for cart charging a plus. Door locks stick on outside. Lots games available I’m being being picky but nothing is a deal breaker. Good choice for rental.

Thanks for the review. Glad the host, view, clean rooms, comfortable beds, beach chairs and umbrella selection, cart charging cord, and games worked well. Appreciate the detailed feedback — we’ll ask the maintenance team to inspect the outdoor shower area, add towel hooks in the bathrooms, check the dock kits, review the family-room TV placement/size, restock knives in the silverware, repair the deck umbrella, and service the sticky exterior door locks. What a wonderful home! Our family stayed here for my daughter’s wedding weekend and thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Well advertised and loved all the bathrooms! Something for everyone at this home! Will definitely be back!!

Awesome house with a spectacular view!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had three generations in this house for a weeklong vacation. We all loved the house and spent a lot of time on the back deck looking at the views (the nightly sunsets were amazing!).

Labor Day on the Bay

Well loved, maintained & stocked home on the bay. Everything was thought of by the owners. Large living space for all to congregate & each have his/her own seat. Well stocked kitchen included all the necessary cooking/baking/serving supplies + several pantry staples. All appliances in working order. Each family couple had their own large bedroom with plenty of room & their own private bath (+ bidets). Nice & clean upon arrival + a little treat from the owner, which was unexpected but so appreciated. Outdoor space is awesome with 3 separate areas to pull up a seat & enjoy the view of the bay. Lots of outdoor toys provided, from SUP & chairs to umbrellas & sand toys. Short path leading from home directly to beach. Outdoor shower & hose great for a rinse off. 1+ mile walk to most of the restaurants, brewery, shops & public beach. We rented a golf cart for convenience. The neighbors & neighborhood were quiet. Cape Charles is a great, safe walking town that didn't seem like a crowded tourist area for the Labor Day holiday. Will definitely be back for a relaxing retreat!

Great, clean, luxury!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a great stay at 123 Sunset. The house is well laid out for a trip with multiple family "units" with multiple primary bedrooms, and all bedrooms having en suite bathrooms. The kitchen is huge! And the dining area makes it easy for family dinners. The view off the back deck is awesome, and the location is unbeatable in a gated community close to the main Cape Charles beaches. The private beach does have a good amount of glass, unfortunately, so be aware when walking around. Our only complaints are 1) the owner showed up unannounced and took their golf cart for the duration of our stay. We would have appreciated a little notice, and 2) the top floor HVAC/thermostat was malfunctioning, which meant the lookout area was unbearably warm during our summer stay. Neither of these really took away from our enjoyment of our stay or the property. The management company was awesome and very responsive!
