We were communicating with your owner of the property the cell fan from living room was not working and the room bye the garage was hot in there and the master bedroom the shower only one was working and the other one was slow and drain. Water was going slow. Thank you

Spring Break 2024

We rented the canal home for Spring Break because our family loves to fish. We caught a ton of catfish and had a pretty good fish fry. Family members also rented kayaks and traveled up and down the canal at their leisure. All in all we had a great time!

Perfect for a family.

This property was exactly as it says. We had 14 guests and it was perfect for us. House was beautiful, clean and very nice neighborhood. Being on the canal was a huge plus. I will definitely be staying here again. Gilley was super nice and accommodating! I do recommend bringing spices, baggies, and toiletries as these weren’t on the property for use. We had so much fun!

Beautiful new home on canal

This is a beautiful newly done home, with high quality finishes and furnishings. Wonderful open floor plan for our family group that included adults, infant, toddler, and preteen. Nice fenced in back patio right on the water with a dock, and the patio had seating and a picnic table so perfect for enjoying the nice weather outside with kids. The mattresses and bedding were great quality and comfortable in the large bedrooms, and the master bath is huge! Very convenient to both downtown Rockport and the ferry. Really appreciated the host’s responsiveness to our needs and questions. Highly recommend and would stay here again.

Overall, everything was very nice. When we first got there the cleaning person was still there and said that it was going to be another 45 minutes before the towels dry and asked if she wanted to know if we want her to stay or if we could pull the towels out and fold them we opted to go ahead and dry the towels ourselves and fold them for the trip mind you the check-in was at 4 PM. We got there at 4:30 so we didn’t want to have the cleaning person there for the first hour of our trip. Everything worked out but it actually took a hour and 20 minutes to dry towels.The house is very nice. They did a great job remodeling. I’m not sure when the last person had rented it out before but the house was a little musky and needed to be aired out. We went and bought some candles to burn every day while we were there just to have a nice aroma. The canal fishing off the back was excellent. We were surprised to see dolphins swim through the canal nearly every morning.When we were there the master bathroom shower, which is large and very nice had an issue draining the water . It got pretty deep within the first five minutes of showering. It took another 10 minutes after the shower was over for the water to drain completely.

The house was absolutely perfect! We are a family with four young kids they were able to sleep comfortably and have fun in the bunk bed room. The open concept layout of the house was wonderful for continuous socializing. Our kids could safely enjoy the atmosphere in the backyard. Everyone had a wonderful time fishing the canal. The sunrises and sunsets were stunning from the backyard. Rockport beach was the best Texas beach we have ever been too. It was clean, sandy (not muddy), there were playgrounds for the kids, waves were light and the water was shallow. Our young kids had the best time playing in the water! This was one of the best vacations our family has taken. Thank you for hosting us! We didn’t want to leave.

Very nice property and spacious. Loved the warm welcoming atmosphere. Nice and cozy. Only downfall with this property that it was not pet friendly.
