Donner Lake, Truckee House - Available for Ski Lease 2025 ski season

Set on the west side of Donner Lake on a quiet cul-de-sac this newly remodeled home is the perfect setting for your get away. The house sleeps 10 in total with 2 private bedrooms downstairs and one bath, and upstairs a large, cozy loft with 2 queen size beds, a twin sofa bed and trundle bed, and one bath. Also a laundry space and a garage. The living area is an open floor plan and you’ll be able to cook your favorites in the fully equipped kitchen. Next to the kitchen is a dining area that leads into the TV area with a wood burning fireplace and a large deck. You are minutes away from the lake which has many access points to enjoy paddle boarding and kayaking in the summer and three ski resorts within 20 minutes in the winter. Truckee is 20 minutes away with easy access to I-80. There are so many fun things to do, and you’re close to it all.

beautiful home with all the extras

my husband and I stayed here with our 4 kids (ages 9-16) and my parents. It was amazing. It truly had all the extras (toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo, ziplock bags!) and was the best stocked kitchen I have ever stayed in. we were able to cook most nights and I had all we needed and more. We skied at Boreal while we were there and it was so close- like 10 minutes. The loft area was a dream for my older kids- so many beds, so much space, even a closet up there to store their luggage. and honestly my favorite part is the kitchen is huge- even bigger than it looks in the photos. I just feel like everyone loves to crowd in the kitchen and there was so much space for people plus a pantry area and counter space. There are lots of stairs- coming in to the house and up to the loft so may not be the best for tiny kids but perfect for our crew.

Fantastic location and newly renovated cabin

The location (at the end of a cul de sac) and proximity to Donner lake and the ski resorts close by make this a fantastic location. Likewise, the house was newly renovated with an amazing full kitchen and living area. My only minor gripe is that the garage is actually not usable. There is a carport but it'll only fit half a car and the roller door on the garage isn't wide enough to fit a full-size car.

Beautiful cabin!

We absolutely loved our stay at this cabin! It’s completely remodeling and very clean. The upstairs has 2 large beds and another twin with a pullout with a bathroom. Downstairs has 2 bedrooms with a bathroom. The 2 decks were perfect for relaxing on a very quiet street.

Excellent experience and a lovely spot

This property was the best experience we’ve had with a rental. We had everything we needed plus some extras like cooking oil, laundry detergent, and even a few snacks. The neighborhood was very quiet and the location felt very away from it all, yet, there are wonderful things to do nearby as well. There were plenty of towels, blankets, and comfy beds for our party. The garage had chairs and other beach ready items available for use, the lock was easy and customized to our personal code. Our favorites were the local pub just at the end of the lake, the ice cream shop near on the opposite side of the lake, and the state park for a dog friendly beach. Overall, this vacation was great for us, teens and Grandma which was amazing. Margaret was so easy to communicate with and made our stay extremely pleasant. We will hopefully be back next year.

Beautiful place

What a great area to stay at. The house was well prepared and had all amenities. A lot of room for a family to enjoy the view and just hang out. Overall experience and communication was fantastic!! Would we stay here again? You betcha! Thank you again Margaret for having everything all ready and for a wonderful vacation experience our family!!

Excellent Host and Excellent Home

One of the nicest vacation homes we've ever rented! Very well-stocked (with access to anything you could possibly need while at the house and at the lake), very clean, modern, private and peaceful. Great appliances in the kitchen & great outdoor grill, very comfortable beds, very nice outdoor furniture, and lots of firewood too. A lot of love went into making this a wonderful vacation home. The best host we've ever rented from as well - awesome communication! Can't wait to come back!!!!

This is an excellent property. It was very clean in a great location. The managers were very attentive. It is well equipped with everything that you could need. It is probably the best place we have rented in the area.

Gem Near Donner Lake

Our family had an amazing stay at Donner Lake. House is airy, bright and incredibly well stocked with everything we needed for a week by the lake. Margaret was so friendly and could not have been easier to communicate with. She checked in with us prior to and during our stay. Highly recommended this home.

Truckee House

The Truckee house was an incredible property. Very clean and the whole inside very modern and clean. There were so many amenities available that it made the stay so easy!! I highly recommend the property for families.
