In tropical environments like Hawai‘i, this can occasionally occur, and we’re glad we were able to promptly provide ant bait to help resolve the issue during your stay. We also appreciate your suggestions regarding additional toilet paper and larger cookware. As noted in our listing, we provide a starter supply of essentials, and guests staying for longer periods or with larger groups may wish to purchase additional items as needed. That said, your feedback is very helpful, and we will certainly review the kitchen inventory to see where improvements can be made for larger groups. Thank you for your feedback. We’re very sorry to hear about your experience with the downstairs unit and sincerely apologize for the discomfort it caused. The presence of a strong odor and visible mold in the washer is unacceptable, and we take these concerns seriously. We appreciate you pointing out the condition of the air filter and the moisture-wicking products—these were meant as proactive measures, but clearly, they fell short. We’ve already scheduled a deep cleaning of the unit, including the washer, and will be replacing or professionally servicing the air filter system immediately. We’re also addressing the underlying moisture issues to ensure this doesn’t recur. Your comments are valuable in helping us improve, and we truly regret that your stay was impacted.
