Our charming cottage on elmhurst drive has been completed renovated. It has new siding, windows, window treatments, kitchen, bathrooms and flooring. We have put lots of detailed touches to make this cottage a place that our guests want to come back to time after time. Our home is located on the backside of Mount Mercy college in the heart of a neighborhood that has lots of cute character. You will see that the home is furnished with comfy beds and bedding, new kitchen supplies and wonderfully plush towels for showering.

I travel a lot from work and this place was a nice break from hotels. Quite neighborhood and close to everything you would want to do in Cedar Rapids.

Cozy Cottage...a MUST stay!

My husband and I recently moved to Cedar Rapids and made this cottage our home for 45 days! It was perfect for our little family and had everything we needed. The owners were very responsive and incredibly helpful with whatever we needed. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood near Mount Mercy University and about 10 minutes from downtown!

Coe swim meet

Perfect spot for conference swim meet. Ate breakfast and dinner at the house and lunch out. Worked great.

Our home away from home!

We were coming to Cedar Rapids for my grandson’s wedding, I am 80 and a dear friend of the family is 88 so we very much appreciate the front bedroom with private bathroom for her. I was so nice to come back and visit together in the living room. My only complaint would have liked a handrail next to mailbox to help make those2 steps into entrance. Cozy, immaculately clean, and comfortable

We really enjoyed our stay at Lynnaya's property. It was very quiet, comfortable and clean. She quickly responded to our request to check in a little early, which we very much appreciated. Highly recommend!

Great house

My daughter and I in town to visit family for 10 days. The house was well equipped with most everything you’d need and very clean. Nicely decorated and provided comfortable space for more than two people. Location was great and convenient to everything. Would definitely stay here again.

Home away from home

This is such a great house in a central location! Neighborhood was very quiet and all the places we needed to go - Marion, Robins, SE Cedar Rapids, etc. were all within a 10-15 minute drive. The host was extremely welcoming and responsive - I highly recommend this house if you’re in the area!

updated and clean space with comfy beds

This VRBO had an accurate description and was very clean and bright. When I had issues locating the lockbox the owner was very responsive and kind.

Wonderful Stay

We had a wonderful stay in Cedar Rapids, the house was very cute and very clean. It was nice and quiet with easy access to everything including the University of Iowa. I would recommend this house to any couples of families that are visiting the Cedar Rapids area. There is also a very nice restaurant close by called Cobble Hill, if in the are please give it a try!

Terrific house and location

We rented this lovely house for the weekend and it was so comfortable. The location was great. In a quiet neighborhood near Mt. Mercy University and centrally located in town. Managment was very helpful and responded promptly to our inquiries. I would rent this unit again.

Perfection

This is the second year we have stayed in this home and it was once again perfect. Lynnaya and her husband were super sweet and understanding when we requested an adjustment. The house is always very clean, comfortable and has everything you need. The neighborhood is very nice and quiet; if you need groceries you are minutes away. We will be staying here again when we visit our son at the University of Iowa.

Lovely place

Booked this last minute for family coming in for a graduation. Great location that is a short drive to any part of CR, Marion, or Hiawatha. Looks to be newly remodeled. Way more spacious than it appears from the outside. Family said it was comfortable for sleeping and gave it a thumbs up. Gorgeous kitchen. Great communication by the owner. Will definitely keep in mind if we need to book a place again.

Charming Cottage Indeeed!!

We stay in many VRBO’s and this was the cleanest one we’ve ever stayed in. It has been all redone inside, and has nice little touches throughout, is centrally located, close to an outstanding HyVee grocery store, has comfortable beds, and was just the perfect place to stay during our visit to Eastern Iowa. The entire booking process was seamless. The owners are responsive and great communicators. We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended.

Family Wedding

The house is very clean cute and the beds were comfortable, while we were there the neighborhood was quiet. The host was very quick to reply to my questions. Only thing I may suggest is to have a book with all the details and instructions Wi-Fi password or code ect.

Great little cottage

We loved our time at this cottage. The owners have done a great job with the remodeling of this property! Everything on the inside has been updated. There are so many little touches that make this property feel like home. It is by far one of the cleanest properties we have every stayed in. They provide all the essentials that many properties don’t. The owner was quick to respond to all questions we had. I would highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a place to stay in Cedar Rapids!
