A magical and peaceful place on the Caribbean Sea of Puerto Viejo, Costa Rica. Casa Roble is set in a spacious tropical garden just 300 meters (5-minute walk) from the beaches of Playa Negra.
This one-story beach house has a primary bedroom with a queen size bed and another bedroom with a full size bed and twin bed. There is also a sofa bed and hammock on the front porch. The living room has two couches as well. The full bathroom is located between the two bedrooms. The fully stocked kitchen has views of the garden.
Our home is ideal for couples, families, groups up to 6 people.
Remember, you are in the Caribbean, on “Tico time” (similar to island time), and in the tropical jungle. Things may take longer to happen, plans may change, it may rain unexpectedly, and the electricity, the internet, or even the water service could run out on you at times. This is all part of your adventure, so take it as the material for a good story, and you will enjoy your stay a lot more.

We are living in Northern California and spend a couple of months per year at Casas Roble y Media Luna.

We love Puerto Viejo and after multiple vacations in this beautiful town, we decided to put down roots so we can come back for the rest of our lives. Our mission is to create a home open to travelers during their time on the beautiful Caribbean of Costa Rica. We know how it is traveling from place to place and feeling homesick, so we are creating a vacation rental that has love and everything you need to feel at home.
