The Sweet Dream House

The Sweet Dream House consists of two floors (surface 94 m² / 1011 ft²) and features three bedrooms: two downstairs , one with A/C and one upstairs. The downstairs bedrooms have mosquito nets inside. The three bedrooms have king and queen beds that can be changed for two single beds. Each bedroom has its own bathroom with shower and toilet. The bedrooms can be locked, but the rest of this Manzanillo vacation rental house is open space.

What an amazing place to stay, the best little hideout in the jungle a person could hope for. I will definitely be staying here again. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It was very hard to pack up and leave, Pura Vida…

SWEET DREAM HOUSE

We spent 4 dream days. We stayed in the Sweet Dream, a superb house in a fabulous environment (nature, animals...). Marisol, Masai and Dan are extremely kind. We could not have dreamed of a more fabulous stay. Nothing, all is perfect

A real dream house in paradise

It is a beautiful, artistic house in a wonderful surrounding, minutes from a beautiful beach, Monkeys and slothes on the trees, flowers everywhere. Marisol and Masai was extremely kind, they helped us in everything. There is daily cleaning and washing service even. We felt ourselves in the paradise!

The Congo-Bongo Family Thought of Everything

The home is gorgeous, the surrounding jungle-life... amazing!, every detail thought of with extra surprises, Marisol, Masai, & family are all smiles as they have an answer for every question ( the rest of the staff as well), even Ling-Ling the family dog will walk you to the beach..... impressive! In ALL honest, I cannot think of ONE negative. Incredible, beautiful, perfect place, people, & stay. I HIGHLY recommend.

Beautiful house, great location.

The host was amazing! They helped us book activities and responded quickly to all messages. They greeted us personally when we arrived and messaged us frequently to check in. One downstairs bedroom has AC and it worked great! The upstairs bedroom was all open, with a fan and mosquito net. We thought we would be hot, but actually ended up getting a little chilly during the night. The screened in kitchen was great and we enjoyed the putdoor living space. The laundry service was unexpected and much appreciated. We enjoyed being close to the beach and to Manzanilla. Our stay was quiet. peaceful and relaxing. We hope to visit again soon!

Sweet Dream House

Wir waren sechs Nächte in der Congo Bongo Lodge und haben uns sehr, sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Haus und die ganze Anlage waren sehr schön, geschmackvoll und es war alles da, was man benötigt. :-) Die Betreiber waren sehr nett und der Waschservice war toll. Individuelle Häuschen mit komfortablen Freiheitsgefühlen

Liebevoll und individuell gestaltete Häuschen umgeben von Dschungel. Die Hotelanlage ist angenehm weitläufig, so dass man für sich ist. Wir haben die offenen Räume (v. a. das in zweiter Etage) sehr geliebt - man ist mitten drin im Dschungel und ist trotzdem versorgt mit allen Annehmlichkeiten, wie einem doppelten Insektenschutz. Die (Recycle-)Kunst auf dem Gelände ist ein schönes iTüpfelchen. Die Lage des Hauses ist super, nah am Strand und etwas ab vom Trubel Puerto Viejos, dennoch mit kurzer Fahrt erreichbar. Der kostenlose und sehr fixe Wäscheservice ist bei der teilweise hohen Luftfeuchtigkeit Gold wert. -

The walk to the beach is magical and the beach itself clean and quiet. We observed a sloth also near the beach and woke daily to howler monkeys (a plus for us). We felt well taken care of by Marina who cleaned the kitchen and living room daily and did laundry when needed. The owners were quick to respond to our Whatsapp message when the hot water stopped or the wifi needed resetting. We appreciated the eco touches, collecting perishables for compost and the sculptures around the property made from re-used materials. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Better than I could have hoped.

I was afraid that, somehow, the photos of the site were misleading, or the other reviews were fake, or overstated things. But no. This place was every bit as wonderful as I could have hoped. We were right there in the jungle, surrounded by plants and wildlife, a short walk to a deserted beach, yet living in total comfort. I can't recommend this place enough.

Wonderful stay!

There is such a wonderful team of people who run the Congo Bongo! We loved our stay. It was our second time visiting and we love the beautiful plants, the wonderful dream houses and the beach! There are wonderful paths for hiking and also privacy in the dream houses. The entire ecovillage is very clean and well run. We loved all the recycling and eco friendly practices. Such a respectful harmony of living in a healthy relationship with nature! Definitely a destination of excellent refreshment and wonder! The ways that the Congo Bongo honors the local indigenous people and history is beautiful.

Amazing place and environment.

If you love nature this is the place for you, an abundance of wildlife, and a great location. The staff was friendly, and if your a dog lover, there was added sense of secirity and home. We will miss Coco, who adopted US for the week! This place truly gives you a sense of disconnect from the world. Loved it! Cooking utensils could use an upgrade. One of the showers downstairs had a mind of its own.
