Mohican Getaway

Enjoyed our stay, very cozy cabin with everything you need! Not too far of a drive to get to Mohican! Host was great with getting right back with us with any questions!

Great location

I had such a great stay at the carriage house. It was clean and cozy and perfect for my stay. Within walking distance to some of the best pizza I've had. I told my husband we will have to stay here next time we go back to the area.

A peaceful little house.

This little house has everything for a great stay. My wife and I stayed for a weekend and we had a great time. Evan the owner is very nice and attentive.

Stayed for a couple days visiting family. Nice clean, convenient spot. Coffee and staples stocked when we arrived.

Weekend Getaway

My partner and I stayed at this property for a weekend and had a great time. The home had a cozy feel to it and was nice. It was close to in-town businesses and not too far from touristic areas. The host, Evan was very helpful with any questions or concerns.

The bathroom is upstairs and was hard for my father to get there. Otherwise great location.

Very clean

My wife and I had a great 4-night stay in this updated one-bedroom house in a nice neighborhood, The kitchen was equipped with new kitchen appliances, and the unit's other furnishings were in good shape. Most impressive was the cleanliness of the unit.

Good value

It was just me needing a place to sleep for 3 nights in a quiet, safe neighborhood. Good on both counts & I slept good. Being a race weekend at Mid-Ohio, lodging rates were very high. This "Cozy cottage" was almost half the rate of a cheap hotel. Good value for 3 nights. Only a 18 minute drive to Mid-Ohio Raceway, so very easy commute. Checkin instructions should have made clear that the house address # given was not THAT house but is the cottage #-RR (rear) behind that house. Cottage was clean with really new flooring. Old fixtures in the kitchen weren't dirty, just old. And the cottage was old with low ceilings but appeared to have good, strong "bones."

Not bad

I was okay with location, but was unaware I had to go upstairs to use restroom.I have bad knees and this was really difficult to do. Also I luckily brought my own toiletries... those provided by host were open and previously used. Although the coffee pot had Keurig capabilities, the only coffee available was also open and previously used. I think for price things could have been better. Honestly I think Evan is just a young single gentleman that doesn't realize the effect these things have on guests. I would have texted him directly with this, but he never provided a phone number for direct contact.

Thank you for your response, Marla and for the advice to provide a better experience for future guests. My personal phone number is located on the welcome guide that guests receive, and I would have been happy to have fixed these inconveniences for you. The coffee you mentioned is in a container that keeps it fresh and there were K-Cups stocked in the drawer just below the coffee maker. I will make it a point to mention that to future guests. The upstairs bathroom is mentioned in the description of the property, however, I will word it better to make it clearer. Although I am a young single gentleman, I take pride in my rental and actively try to think what guests will need and how I can make the experience as great as I can for each and every guest.
