We’ve also put together a welcome booklet for your convenience — inside, you’ll find helpful information on nearby medical facilities and pharmacies, our favorite local restaurant recommendations, and quick-reference check-in and check-out instructions.

My husband and I live in the Willamette Valley and we have four beautiful children. We love travel, and together, we have been to Ireland, Honduras, Samoa, and Zambia; we came sooo close to going to Cambodia in 2020, but you can guess how that turned out (!). Our bucket list destinations include Southeast Asia (Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia), the Mediterranean (Greece and Italy), Prague, and the UK. Our favorite thing about traveling - besides seeing our planet’s incomprehensible natural beauty, meeting new people, and trying new foods - is embracing the gift of fresh perspective that travel affords.

We have been coming to this home together for over 27-years (as long as we have been married), as this is the home that my husband's parents built and lived in for almost 30-years. Our children grew up coming here for weekend visits with the Grandparents, and many beautiful memories were created here: kayaking trips in the Nehalem River with Grandpa, family walks to Manzanita City Park and tennis courts, bike rides to nearby Nehalem State Park, and of course walks and sunset bonfires on the beach.
This home is the setting of so many memories that we will always hold dear, and we hope that it will be a special place for our guests, as well.

Qué distingue a esta propiedad
Manzanita is located just north of Nehalem and Wheeler, and a scenic 20-minute drive south of Cannon Beach. There are many nearby hiking trails, eateries (our fave's include: Wanda's in Nehalem, Offshore Grill and Marzano's in Manzanita, and The Salmonberry in Wheeler), and, of course - the Pacific Ocean is just a short walk from the front door (one-block, to be exact!).
