Exceptional home in a magical setting with stunning ocean views. The hosts had thought of everything. One of the best equipped houses we have ever stayed in. Comfortable beds, large dining table and plenty of room to gather together and also spread out for alone time. We enjoyed walks on the beach and exploring all that Manzanita has to offer.

This home was a great space for a family reunion of 11 people. The location is terrific, and we enjoyed being able to walk so quickly to town or to the beach. Having a bedroom on a floor with so few stairs was extremely important for us because some individuals have poor mobility. Before booking, the owners were very communicative and readily answered questions I had about the layout (when I was assessing feasibility for our low mobility individuals). The quick and thorough communication continued throughout the stay. The home is well stocked for families that enjoy cooking, and it was perhaps the best stocked kitchen of any rental home that I’ve used. Our families hope we can return in the future. Thanks for making this great property available!

Our group of 14 (8 adults, 4 teenagers, 2 kids) plus our dog had an absolutely incredible stay here. The house is exceptionally well-setup to accommodate a large family gathering without anyone feeling crowded.The location is unbeatable—right on the beach with spectacular ocean views. The master bedroom is a total highlight, featuring massive windows and a beautiful vaulted ceiling that faces the water.Manzanita itself was wonderful. It has a relaxed, chill pace that we loved, and we were within a short walk to plenty of restaurants, shops, and coffee shops.The entire group had a fantastic time. We couldn't have asked for a better beach vacation!

This was our third stay at this property and it always meets our expectations and more! Communication with the property owner is great, and any questions have always been answered quickly. It is a pet friendly house and great for a family get together with six bedrooms in their last remodel. The view from the deck is wonderful and being across the street there is nothing that blocks your view of the sunsets and the waves! Thanks again for a wonderful time!

The oceanview was unobstructed and right outside the windows. The beach access was straight across the street from us. The 6 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms are very well laid out for privacy. It's a beautiful home and the kitchen had everything that we needed plus some.

We are native Oregonians who have always loved spending time on the Oregon Coast. Many years ago, we were fortunate to realize a family dream of owning a beach house here in Manzanita. This home holds so many special memories for us—gathering with friends and family, walking along the shore, and simply enjoying the beauty of the ocean.

We’re happy to share our home with guests and hope you feel as welcome and comfortable here as we do. It means a lot to us to know that others are creating their own memories in a place that has brought us so much joy.

We chose Manzanita because it has a special, laid-back charm you don’t find in many coastal towns. Unlike some busier spots on the Oregon Coast, Manzanita feels peaceful and welcoming, with a strong sense of community. The seven-mile stretch of sandy beach is never crowded, and it’s perfect for long walks, beachcombing, or watching the sunset over the ocean.

The neighborhood itself is incredibly walkable. We love that you can stroll to the bakery in the morning for fresh pastries, grab coffee, browse the local shops, or enjoy dinner without ever getting in the car. Everything feels close and easy.

People who visit Manzanita often say it feels like stepping back to a simpler time—where you can truly relax, slow down, and reconnect with nature and each other. Whether it’s hiking Neah-Kah-Nie Mountain, exploring nearby state parks, or just sitting on the deck listening to the waves, there’s something here for everyone to love.

Our spacious floor plan—over 3,000 square feet with 6 bedrooms and 5 full bathrooms—makes it easy for everyone to spread out and relax. We have two king ensuite master suites, perfect for sharing with grandparents or another couple, plus three queen bedrooms and a bunk room kids love. With two sleeper sofas, there’s plenty of room for larger families or multiple families traveling together.

Pet-friendly and family-friendly, our fully fenced backyard is a rare find along the Oregon Coast. It’s a safe space for kids to play and for dogs to explore.

What also makes Ocean Escape special is how close everything is. Once you arrive, you can park your car and walk everywhere—restaurants, shops, the golf course, and the grocery store are all just a short stroll away. It’s the perfect blend of convenience and privacy.
