The property was just as described. It’s a super cute A-frame home. It was well stocked with EVERYTHING we could possibly need. It was located on a quiet street and convenient to many things. Chris was very responsive as we were supposed to be arriving during hurricane Isaias. Chris kept us posted and let us know the conditions there as well as when electricity was restored and we could arrive.

Rooms were clean and roomy. Laundry on site was very helpful for beach days. The grill was very nice to have for cook outs. Close to beaches and other entertainment for both families and adults.

This place was great. Ample space for 2 people. It has everything needed for laundry, kitchen, bedrooms. Also very close to the beaches and stores. I would book it again!

We had such an amazing stay! Perfect house for our family of 5! Super close to the beach, great restaurants nearby (highly recommend sunset grille). Stores are all in close distances but not right next to house, Very clean and spacious. Host was very kind and answered all questions very quickly. Would definitely stay again!

From the little details (extra toothbrushes and toothpaste) to the cleanliness and available washer and dryer, the hosts thought of everything we may or may not need. Thank you!

Family Vacation

Nice rental for our beach trip plenty of space for our family. Very clean and equipped with what we needed even board games and fun extras. Short drive to a great beach. We also enjoyed the book including recommendations. Would def stay again and recommend to friends.

Perfect Getaway Spot

Great property. Unique & fun. Well stocked with all the necessities. You can tell the owners have visited a lot of rentals because of all the details they put into their property. They definitely have the guests in mind. Very comfortable and roomy. The location is excellent. Very safe and private but close enough to all the local businesses and recreation. Highly recommend! Hope to visit again soon.

The house was very cozy and welcoming. Remember the little things count. The gift basket of maybe needed toiletries was nice. A toaster that only toasts on one side, pealing Teflon large pot, lack of large skillet, unusable outside grill were a disappointment. Our son is a roofer and noticed the air vent isn’t flashed and is allowing water to leak into the upstairs bathroom, causing yellowing of the wall. You might want to take care of that. Addition of a weather proof chest for beach items would be better than leaving them in the grass. We wish you the best with your future rentals. If things mentioned are fixed this would have been a 5star review!

Regarding the issues you mentioned (the one-sided toaster, peeling Teflon on the large pot, missing large skillet, unusable grill, and the outdoor items left in the grass), we had no prior reports of these, but that’s no excuse — we clearly missed them during our last turnover check. All of these will be addressed immediately: we’ll replace the toaster and pot, add a proper large skillet, get the grill serviced/repaired, and provide a weatherproof storage chest for beach gear right away. The roof vent concern is especially important — thank you for flagging it (and for your son’s roofing expertise!). We’ve already scheduled a professional roofer to inspect and properly flash/seal the vent this week to prevent any further water intrusion or damage. We’re grateful you brought this to our attention before it became a bigger issue. Your suggestions are spot-on, and we’re committed to making these updates quickly so the next guests can enjoy the stay you deserved. We hope you’ll consider giving us another chance in the future once these fixes are complete — we’d love the opportunity to earn that 5-star rating.

Better than or equal to 4 star hotel

Great home. Looks small from outside but very well laid out. Very thoughtful host. Everything needed was provided; linens, all towels, kitchen supplies, dishwasher, dish soap, washer/dryer, bath soap/shampoo, linens for pullout sofa, beach towels, toys for kids, chairs, outdoor grill with utensils to include charcoal and lighter fluid. Even a small first aid kit was provided for use. The host even provided small toiletries in case you forgot to pack a toothbrush or sunscreen for the beach. Can’t say enough positive things about the home! The host was very responsive when I had questions prior to my arrival.

Super cute home

This house was quiet and relaxing. The temperature of the home stayed very cool for the time of year. The kitchen was stocked fairly well. We did need a muffin tin for one of our desserts but we made do with what was there. The bathrooms were very clean but we noticed the 1st floor shower door wasn't installed correctly so it leaked water onto the floor outside it. Might place a towel there. The living room and dining area were just right. We were all able to comfortably watch a few evening shows without crowding. There were 5 of us. The house itself was well stocked with extras like beach towels, toys, beach chairs, and even a boogie board. We didn't need to use them as we brought our own but it was nice to know it was available. The backyard has a picnic table with hanging lights. We didn't spend any time out there as the weather was hot and muggy. I don't get too excited about bugs. There were a few spiders in the home but that is expected as it was summer and the location. Owner was on top of that upon our exiting to call his pest guy. As for the bedrooms we all slept fair. The bed on the first floor was not really comfortable. It squeaked with any movement which woke us up often. Watch your head whoever sleeps on the right side of the bed. The ceiling slants steeply right there. That side of the bed could have used a nightstand for my phone and bottle of water. Other beds were comfy at least according to the kids. We would most definitely stay here again!! Loved it.

Clean nice place with everything one needs. Close to the boat ramps for offshore fishing and no bugs when cleaning your boat after dark. Easy check in and booking.

Chris was great to work with. We brought a boat to fish and I had a couple questions about parking and Chris answered very quickly. We also wanted to add an extra day to be able to come early and again no problem at all. The house was great and very clean with everything needed and a nice Welcome note when we got there. I would stay again for sure.
