The house was a perfect getaway. Loved the decor and homey feeling. Very clean and well taken care of. The hosts were soo kind, helpful and thoughtful. Loved the personalized welcome basket and helpful instructions about the property. We had a great time, thank you!

If you're looking for a wonderful place to stay on vacation then look no further then the this Cabin "The Ranch on Greenwood". It is like staying at a 5 star Hotel!!!The owners attention to detail is exceptional. Plush towels. Shampoo/conditioner/Body Wash dispensers in each bathroom. The Hot Tub is "delicious"! I could have slept there! When you walk into the cabin you immediately start to relax. The outside areas are also made for more relaxing. This is just what I needed. A place to chill out and de-stress. When I booked the cabin, the owner asked if anything special was happening. I told him it was my birthday. To my delight, I found birthday balloons and muffins there waiting for me. How sweet!!!The owner responded quickly to all my questions.So, if you are looking for a beautiful cabin with extra attention to detail, I highly recommend the Ranch at Greenwood. you'll love it!!! BTW this cabin is pet friendly

Cozy and Inviting!

My friends and I went for a small weekend getaway and this cozy house was perfect! This house was exactly what we needed. The owner is insanely communicative and made sure that we had everything that we needed. We will make sure to come back as soon as we can!

Our favorite place

This house gives you the cottage feel with hotel amenities! They provide everything, including bikes, kayaks, plenty of games and a shuffleboard table! Always super clean and excellent communication from the host! This was our 3rd time here in a year!

Friendsgiving

8 friends stayed for three nights and had a friendsgiving dinner. We enjoyed the jacuzzi every day (even had a 12-deer parade go by one day!) We had a fire every evening which made the cozy living room even cozier! Their home was immaculate and their attention to detail impressive! Will definitely go back!

Great New Years Getaway on the Ranch

Everything in the house was just as listed! Rob was a wonderful host. Very responsive to any questions and friendly with local attractions. We enjoyed time at the house with best friends and kids bringing in the New Year! Everything was very clean!! The hot tub was relaxing and we loved getting to see the deer in the yard. We were greeted with a welcome basket and some cute little chocolates on the folded towels in the beds. Great details and very cozy stay! We hope to go back one day!

Great place loaded with amenities

It is often difficult when renting a lake house to determine what is provided and what will be needed once you show up and realize it isn’t included. This may be the first place our family has rented that not only had everything shown in the pictures and listed in the description, but a bunch of other things as well! The owner provided a number of local recommendations for restaurants, hiking trails, and rainy day activities and clear directions for using the jacuzzi, grill, kayaks, and popcorn machine as well as checking in and out. I definitely recommend this location for families with children of all ages.

Amazing Host, Amazing Property

Robert is an amazing host. I reached out before booking and I asked her if it was possible to check in early. He quickly responded and indicated that I could check in early. He’s very communicative provides so much information that is helpful for your stay at his property. He provided us so many restaurant and activity suggestions during our stay. Very nice guy. Very nice property. Great location overall 10/10. Thank you Robert, you are the best.

Great location

We stayed for 3 nights with our friends and 2 dogs. The property was exactly as shown in the pictures. The three separate bedrooms are all a good size and the two bathrooms worked well, one with a shower and the other with a tub. Two nice sitting rooms and a kitchen / diner. The yard worked well with a fire pit and hot tub. Location was quiet and worked great for walks with the dogs. Overall a great location. The host was very attentive to advice & good locations to visit. My one advice to the host would be to provide check in and checkout instructions in the welcome folder. Thank you for a great vacation home

Short "Kid Free short week stay"

My husband and I truly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house. Robert could not have been more accommodating with all aspects of our stay. The house was very clean, the welcome wine and snacks was a really nice touch. Hot tub was clean and relaxing. Had fun on the lake with the kayaks. Beds were comfortable, plenty of pillows. The yard had a hammock, 2 fire pits, picnic table and grill. Shuffleboard in the family room with huge TV. Plenty for all to enjoy. We will definitely come back again. Thank you, Robert, for sharing your wonderful home with us

Exceptional getaway cabin

We booked this cabin as a friends & family winter getaway to break up the monotony of the cold months. The level of hospitality was above and beyond. You can tell the host(s) take pride in providing an exceptional experience. Thoughtful items and additions in every single room. The communication was top notch and was probably the sole reason we had the incredible weekend getaway that we did. Everything from providing take-out food location options, places to find last minute items we forgot, names of the best hiking trails, all kinds of ideas for activities, answering questions we had, etc. Rob was so attentive and responsive. We went as two families with adults and kids… normally would need 2 cabins but this place was the perfect size for all of us and no one felt smothered. There was enough quiet space and group space. The cabin was so comfortable and clean. We enjoyed the hot tub, campfire, hiking nearby parks, walking down to the lake, making homemade pizza, and family game night, movies. All in just 2 days and all was a blast. Make wonderful memories with your family and friends. You will miss these days. Just like the other reviews say… do it, book it! You won’t regret it!

Post-wedding decompression

We stayed here for a little mini-honeymoon getaway after our wedding. The cabin was perfect in every way and the host Robert goes out of his way to ensure we had everything we needed and gave plenty of activity suggestions for each day. The extra snacks and bottle of wine were unexpected but a great touch. We love shuffleboard, so having a table to play on was really cool, and a unique find. Robert even let me know how to find the silicon spray and sand so I could re-prep the table. The Hotspring jacuzzi was top notch, and we now know which one to get for our house in the future😊. We hope to come here again but with some more people so we can really make use of all the other amenities (bikes, kayaks, every yard game imaginable). Nearby Hickory Run state park was a great adventure with lots of easy trails and waterfalls to check out. If you like what you see in the description, you won't be disappointed.

Nice family stay…

We loved this rental. It’s like renting from a friend… Your friend tells you to take your shoes off at the door, don’t mess up my stuff, and use all my toys that you want-just don’t lose them. There is a fire pit in the front and the back of the yard. We really liked the fire pit in the back of the yard and when you’re relaxing in the back yard in the morning the deer will come and visit you. You can tell that he recently bought it and is trying to fix it up. It has a brand new refrigerator, washer, dryer, hot tub, & grill. The kitchen is extremely well stocked with lots and lots of cooking items and serving items and tons of plates and cups. There’s also plasticware for the outside… I appreciated the plastic wine glasses to use outside. There are four kayaks, three bikes, and all kinds of yard games in the garage. The lake is perfect for kayaking. One of the things we liked best is there is a literally 20 different kinds of games in the house to play at night. 10/10 would rent again.

We had a long-postponed family trip -- our first to the Poconos. Everything was perfect from the cozy house to the hot tub to the fire pit. Even the kitchen had better tools than most vacation rentals. And everyone was happy -- aged 3 to 76. We took a drive to Jim Thorpe and another to Beltzville Lake. Rob was very helpful with other suggestions, including live music our first night at the Hub. We will absolutely be back!

Cozy cabin

This mountain house was immaculate with more amenities than we could have imagined. The host left treats for our family, which were very inviting. The hot tub was clean and so relaxing. We used the kayaks on the lake and rode the bicycles. All provided by the host. We received many tips from the host which were useful. We hiked to the beautiful waterfall in Hickory Run Park which was recommended by the host. It was a fun day for our whole family. There were plenty of games to play and at the end of the day, a nice fire and laying in the hammock looking up at the stars was so relaxing. The host was extremely helpful and made our trip so easy and problem free. Can’t wait to go back!
