This peaceful getaway tucked up in the trees is a quiet destination for family or friends.

Amenities include: Hot Tub, 5 flat screen TVs, grill, fire pit, patio seating, games, and more!

There is no direct water access but Mohican Lodge is a short walk and there’s public beach and lake access a short drive away.

Great place - clearly the owner's care

We stay in a lot of VRBO's and this was one of best overall stays. It really felt like we were guests in someone's house. The house was newly renovated and well stocked with kitchenware, utensils, spices, fresh ground coffee, furniture, towels, blankets, a smart tv with all the apps, and so on. Clearly the owners care. And the "secret walk" to the Mohican Lodge is super convenient. An 8-minute drive or a 2-minute walk.

Quiet and Beautiful

Beautiful and very quiet place. The road up to is definitely small but not too bad. Beautiful view of the lake since the leaves were down. I had a very relaxing time.

Great little place !

Everything was perfec! The views are spectacular and the setting is quiet ! Very peaceful ! The owner was very easy to work with. I would highly recommend a stay here !

Awesome stay

The property was even better than expected. The decor was functional and beautiful. The kitchen had everything you would need to cook which we did a lot, and the grill worked as well. The hot tub was the best. Great location for lots of lake and river fun

Everything you want and need

This was perfect for our girls weekend. Stay here! Go to Forbes Farm Market - great place! Be aware that there are many houses that have the same address; just keep going up the hill until you see The Overlook sign on a tree on the left. Enjoy your stay!

Nice Getaway

Our family really enjoyed the house. Well equipped for our group. Nice updates. The only issue was with the bathroom plumbing. The owner responded quickly. After those issues are resolved I would recommend this listing.

Concert stay

Stayed at this property while visiting a local music festival. It was so great to have everyone in one place and the hot tub at the end of the noght was fabulous!. The hosts were amazing and responded to every possible question super quickly. Great place!

We love this quiet hillside neighborhood with unique cottages overlooking Pleasant Hill Lake. Our family enjoys coming here and getting away from it all. There are mountain bike trails in the state park directly across the street, and so many water activities to do nearby.
