It’s a lovely home in a central location.There is a beautiful gourmet kitchen, 2 comfortable bedrooms and a large bathroom with tub/shower and a beautiful living room with an amazing view of the grounds and hills in background.You can walk around the grounds or checkout the community garden next doorWild berries groceries is just across the street and you can truly walk just about anywhere in Arcata.The host was very helpfully and timely with responses. We paid a little more than we typically do, but it was worth it.

Great house! Great location! Great stay!

The house is beautiful inside and out. Very well appointed with luxury bedding, a gorgeous kitchen, and comfortable living throughout! The location is incredible a couple of blocks from Arcata’s main square yet very quiet! Definitely will stay again when returning to Arcata if available.

Repeat stay just as great

This was our 2nd stay. It is a charming house with tasteful furnishings and decor. Hard to believe this is a rental. And a very walkable location. Amy was again a great host, with lots of information for activities.

Beautiful House

We had a wonderful time! This is such a beautiful house, and a fabulous location, easy walk into town. My son attends Cal Poly Humboldt and my daughter is a graduate. We love the area and will definitely rent this house again!

Beautiful house in a great location

We were positively surprised by this house. Bigger than expected and truly in a central location that would allow walking everywhere (if it is not raining cats and dogs). Highly recommended!

Wonderful home a walk away from the square, shops and restaurants. Close to surrounding nature. The house is unique and very well appointed. The kitchen has most of what you need and is a beautiful space to cook in. Lovely and large property. We brought our doggo who was also very happy. We would stay there again.

Beautiful House

The host Amy is so VERY helpful and an excellent communicator. The house is beautiful, especially the kitchen. All beds were comfortable. Overall, it is spacious, quiet, and a good value. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you for an excellent experience.

Charming Arcata house

Wonderful house, with beautiful wood floors and cabinets, engaging artwork, large yard with large trees and hedge. Kitchen was great, with everything we needed. The host had provided us with suggested places to visit on our way into Arcata and in town itself. We plan to be back next year.

Best place ever

If you get the chance to stay here do it!! This place is so nice! Spacious, nice, close to all things to walk, friendly neighborhood. I can’t say enough positive things about this house and area. Even my mom liked it and she never likes anything lol. The yard is huge. It’s near the road but when inside you don’t hear anything.

Beautiful cozy home

Stayed for our annual family Humboldt trip and will definitely be back! Clean, cozy and beautiful. Very spacious, plenty of room for family dinners. Games, nice glasswear and thoughtful touches like a welcome bottle of wine. Quiet and private but so close to everything! Very responsive manager. House has a cool backstory too. Beautiful views. Can't wait to return.

Best place to stay for CPH freshman move-in!

Saying goodbye to our freshman and moving him into his dorm was rough (emotionally) but this most lovely house situated both so close to campus and to downtown Arcata was the best. We walked to the Saturday farmers market our first morning and then my husband and I walked to a wonderful dinner right off the plaza our last night there. The house is beautiful, definitely read the history behind it. Communication was great and we will absolutely be staying there again - already booked our next visit up!

Perfect getaway!

This house is perfect if traveling with 4 people. Plenty of space. Beautiful kitchen and property. We traveled with two teenagers and it was comfortable for everyone. This home has very nice furnishings, flooring, etc. Location was phenomenal. Walking distance to downtown and Cal Poly. Host was extremely responsive. Listing is very accurate. Literally can’t think of anything negative to say. Will definitely stay again.
